What a beautiful game! The controls are super smooth, the concept is interesting and unique, and it looks and sounds beautiful. I really enjoyed this one. Thanks for making it. :)

Good

matheus-mello 2018-12-04 01:02

the game is good, but i dont feel the theme

hungrydev 2018-12-04 01:02

It would be nice if I could control using a fixed direction rather than the mouse position mattering, it made controlling the ship harder than it should have been. Otherwise a fantastic little game

kamen-kitanov 2018-12-04 01:10

Nice and juicy! I liked it. Got to level 4 or so. I could't figure out how it fits the theme.

Fun! Had to give up on the society level though.

I really enjoyed this game although I found it quite difficult. The draining energy seemed a bit unforgiving, but otherwise very well put together. THe mood was set nicely by the simple music as well.f

Best I've played so far and I suspect the best game I will play. There's so many things you nailed here. Art, movement and levels flow beautifully. I really like the way you've given enemies little shields to force the player to think about their positioning before killing them. This is a real gem right here. Well done.

Super. I liked it all. The level "Reach for the skies" is insane xD

*Audio goes bug when you enter the portal shoting

Congratilations. I got 3k. Very funny. Damned gods

Like the artwork, all my years playing kerbal space program are finally worth it running the controls.

mtanton 2018-12-04 04:11

Fun, but the society level got me stuck.

gebowunjo 2018-12-04 16:32

The music is cool and the particle effect are nice ! The game is pretty hard tho. Hope you will continue it after the Jam !

limitless 2018-12-04 20:07

Nice concept! I had to think about every action, even moving. I enjoyed it.

kaeveris 2018-12-04 20:27

Graphics are really cool here, they are simplistic yet very effective! I like how the main character looks like and how you can tell how many life you have by its look. Cool sounds!

This game works pretty well but the difficulty curve without tutorial is maybe a bit to hard? Also the controls (ASDW) which are depending of the player orientation are hard to take for me (but its probably me, to dumb to understand those controls as they are ahah). Nice job guys and thanks for this game!

Really neat game. Love the minimalist look. Energy conservation is a nice mechanic that leads to interesting playstyle decisions. The controls and relative difficulty of the movement add a lot to the gameplay. Is it worth it to try to cruise through a section at max speed and dodge bullets, or should you spend some precious energy killing enemies. The level design highlights the game features well. The only thing that I didn't really enjoy was the laser sound effect.

Really nice job overall.

p0nce 2018-12-05 21:25

Neato. The main problem for me was that the sound of going forward is a bit dissonant with the music, really my main complaint :)

grafexy 2018-12-05 22:23

Love the game, so simple and beautiful, music is kinda hard to listen

sandlantern 2018-12-06 04:23

@grafexy I agree. First time I've ever tried making music from scratch like that. Can't say it's perfect haha.

pedro-rosa 2018-12-09 18:23

The game is cool and fun to play. The sound could be better it gets a bit repetitive.

yaen 2018-12-14 01:21

You've got some great aesthetics in this game. The colours and shapes go well together and it feels like a well designed art style. Sounds were satisfying too and I especially liked the laser sound. I actually liked the music, too! It had many levels, maybe even too many for its own good. Some of them felt a bit pointless, introducing no new mechanics and not really having anything particularily challenging or unique about them. I too think that movement direction should not be based on mouse position. The amount of mental gymnastics I have to do just to know what button to press in order to move in the right direction was so much that I ended up only using the up arrow. This could be way more pleasant if the up arrow alway just pushed me up, down always pushed me down and so on... I ultimately gave up on the solar system level because it was so big and empty with very few goals and no clear sense of direction. I felt lost and eventually drifted off into endless empty space without a way back home until I lost my last remaining energy... That sounded kind of sad :(
