I really like the art for the title page and main character. I wish the camera were a little closer so I could see it better. I also wish it would restart me from the level I just failed on instead of the first level. The dash could use a transition animation, but I understand jam constraints. Great job finishing and submitting!

Cool game! The Art and Mood was great. The thing that really bothered me was that sometimes my mid-dash wouldn't work randomly. I probably also died more times than I'm willing to admit by thinking I had a jump when I didn't jump off a platform, and jumped mid-air. Other than that, it was a really interesting experience.

The air dash has problems: I'm able to dash past the portal into death. It would be great if there was an animation and an actual movement of the character across the x-axis instead of just instant teleportation. There are also problems when I don't jump off of platforms: I don't have an air dash or a double jump if I run off the platform. The music could be a little different too: something with less drums, to make it feel less tribal, and something with more creepy chimes, to enforce the creepy feeling of being alone. The light portal should be a little shinier, and a little bigger. It doesn't feel very rewarding to go towards, and is not very noticable.

However, the game's art looks great. I love the glow on the platforms, which makes the platform blend in very well into the background despite being white on a black background. The character on the main menu is great, and the twintails are cute. The game runs fluidly despite me having a below-average computer, even at "ultra" graphics quality.The controls are simple and easy to understand (great to not have too many buttons), and the character moves smoothly too. The level design isn't shabby. The ball makes things much more interesting.

Pretty dank for a short game. As a platformer, I suggest focusing on the controls since the mid-air dash would occasionally stop working which in turn led to some unfortunate deaths. Having great controls is one of the key elements of a great platformer.

Moving on to the art, not really a big fan of the title screen, though when I ponder over your description of the game which is being trapped in your own thoughts with a cloudy mind, I guess the art does somewhat fit with the overall setting.

For the in-game art it's ok, might want to refine the mid-air dash by adding some animations since it pretty much just teleports the character.

For the music, I think it just gets a bit too loud, something more subtle would suit the aesthetic of the game better.

BTW looking forward to SNP 8!!

This is the first game that I actually would score the mood high, probably because everything was cohesively dark and moody. I have played a bunch but none really leave any impression of the moodiness, but this one sure does. I like the art work. The platforming is very tight-timing. I totally digged the game, if the retry could be automatically pressed so I dont have to click it everytime, that would be even more addictive haha

Artstyle is gr8. Audio sets the mood.

If you plan to make more levels, having checkpoints after each stage would be appreciated. I thought the first level was a bit of a challenge (the right level of challenege), which i personally find great

i could not even make the first jump - lol - the controls felt akward - i thought the music was terrific and the mood was very nice - thanks for making this game
