I think the game suffers with balance in the gameplay and the mechanics of fight, but I really liked the idea. The art is also really god. The audio could be a little more polished, but I enjoyed the overall.

This game is awesome but a fix for the small screen would be nice. also Enemies getting stuck to you and do like a million damage to fix this you should add knock back to the player or kill the enemy when it touches the player. I really like this game but these few problems kind of ruin it for me. The combat is really fun and challenging though.

Great game! The graphic is done extremely well and the game play is really fun and challenging. The throwing mechanic is really cool too. Overall I think the game fit the theme very well and can be challenging at time.

Cool game idea but it was really hard, I thought it frustrating that the enemies would damage us so fast :/ would need a little more gameplay polish but great graphisms !
I was about to come here and talk about how bad your game is, but then I've actually read the description and found that if I press F I can resize the screen and my biggest complaint disappeared.
There are still some problems: sometimes the enemy will hit you only once and deal 50 damage for some reason (you remembered to give the player a second of invulnerability when hit, right?). Also, why is there such a long wait until the furnace reappears? I understand it was needed so that the theme can come in play but I think it would have been better and more fun if you made more enemies attack you at once with you one hit killing them all. This way you could have shorten that length to 10 seconds but still have a challenge and run out of space from killing too many enemies.
I of course like that you, like, made game and hope you a lot of luck with whatever you next project is.
@rebdc yeah, there are invincibility frames but a bug sometimes allows enemies to hit you again during them; i wasn't able to track it down and fix it in time
uploaded a separate version where the bug which caused the hurt animation to be cancelled early is fixed. (the original version is still up alongside it)
*Cool* idea, if you catch my drift. Loving the graphics and the music. Throwing enemies at other enemies is my favorite thing in games.
But, and this might be subjective, I think the game would be greatly improved if enemies died in just one hit and came in larger numbers to compensate. This way you'd get more corpses sooner and you could shorten the waves and keep the pace nice and fast. Also didn't really like getting stunlocked and ganged up upon, kinda defeats the purpose of invincibility frames if you don't have control during.

Interesting idea. Also the graphics and the music were fantastic! I got a bit frustrated after playing it for awhile because of the amount of damage the enemy does.
Great concept and it looks amazing! It was maybe a bit hard, I really struggled on the first wave and I just couldn't get past it. But overall really liked it.

I dig in the art of the game. The gameplay is a little unbalanced but it is playable. Found some collision problems when enemies surround me, but i kind enjoyed it. Gratz :heart:
I dig the bold visuals as well as the character designs. Great spritework + color palette! Being able to use the corpses as an additional weapon is also a nice touch and the mechanic I found the most fun personally.

Really nice aesthetics, would love the gameplay way more if we could strike and move faster. Also, not sure what the audio cues are about - I can hear this "ping" every now and then but is this enemy spawning, or... something else? Hmm!
@outstar i assume the pings you're talking about are the music, it gets more layered and builds up as time goes on but i can see how it can be confusing given you don't start with any other layers
Fun gameplay and the art is really well done. Think the game is a bit too hard and needs some sort of balancing. Can make the swinging cover a wider range or not move forward. Great game overall
