There's a bug where if you use the key on the drawer, then click, you lose the key and go back to the first dialogue :(
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD41 → FPTA Deluxe

@Hedgy Yeah, it's one of many little bugs :) But it doesn't actually break anything. You can still pick up the book afterwards :)
Nice game, I like the original gameplay. However I've got stuck at the screen where I'm supposed to input some code. I can't go back to check the code and all the combinations I tried didn't work :'(
I like the original gameplay and take on decisions, good job
I think something is broken with the link, the game has been stuck saying `Loading game for the first time...` for at least a minute now. Tried on both the newest chrome and firefox.
Game wont load for me for some reason, just at the unity loading screen.
@tthe Strange. Never seen that before. I will investigate and hopefully upload mac/windows/linux version later today. Thanks for the feedback!
@dankar yep tag me if you get another version up, it looks fun and i want to try it.
@tthe @Dekobii Turns out the url to ich.io had stopped working. It should all be working as expected now! :)
Okay, now I could play it :)
For some reason, option 1 was out of screen for the whole time, but I still could complete the game :)
Nice entry overall, I really liked the graphics (I love this minimal art style).
I got the key under the disgusting sofa. Haha
Haha i liked this blend of genres. The minimal graphics appealed me and i'm glad it did.
Hey that was fun. Nice idea. Technically actually well done as it is quite user friendly. The next version needed a better and longer story.
the option 1 is offscreen
Nice idea and execution! Quite user-friendly, too.
That was surprisingly fun! I ran into the key loss bug, but still managed to get through. I love the graphics, simple as they are :tada:
Really hope you get at least 20 votes!
@lightblub Thanks! Yeah, sorry about that bug :) Will hopefully release a post jam version soon!
Realy liked the idea. Having a spacial oriantation in a textadventur is great! Only complain I have is that Esc key also the default key to exit the "lock mouse mode" so it was kinda frustrating to leave to exit the pin code window.
This is a great idea. I particularly liked the moments where the text inform you of something around you, then you had to actual move/turn to inspect those things, it would interesting to see this aspect expanded on. I think the music detracted a little from the experience, I think some ambient noise themed to the room you're supposed to be in would be great and some sounds made to represent the actions you're performing in the game (e.g. sound of a drawer being unlocked). Nice entry though, with great potential!
@Theras @steve Thanks! Adding sounds for the actions would be neat. If I get the time I would like to fix all the annoying little bugs that prevents the players from enjoying the game. I appreciate all feedback and tips on how to make this into a full-fledged game :)
short.
Nice execution! I wasn't sure how a first-person adventure game would play out, but I actually really liked being able to walk around between panels. I LOVED it when the bookcase panel disappeared to reveal the small room behind it. Really adds a lot to the narrative!
Too bad it's quite short because the concept is quite unique and interesting. It give a weird feeling to the "text based adventure" style of your game. Good job, I'd love to see a longer game with the same concept.
Great gameplay! I loved going through the text hahahaha. I wish there was more to see because I really enjoyed what you did.
Great concept, I really appreciated how you had the text boxes in the positions where props around the environment would be - I thought that was clever! :) I encountered a bit of a bug in the final event, where even when I pressed escape the camera would remained locked on the keypad. Luckily I managed to guess the code :P Kudos on a really cool game!
