Lovely game ! I enjoyed it although i sucked at it. I just can't get the rythm right.
Nice entry, loved the graphics.
@roidz Thanks! I've learned that pratice makes perfect. Over time you memorize the patterns. I've managed to cook a 'godly' ratatouille with 7098 points. I'd like to challenge people to beat my score haha!
I think the two game genres you picked blend perfectly with one another as a concept, but I would have liked to see theme intertwined more. Right now you have (IMO) two separate game phases which could maybe have been mixed together a little more.
As a rhythm game newbie, the game seemed really hard to me, so take my opinion with a grain of salt (!).
Lovely presentation though, and a good idea to build upon.
This game is actually very fun to play. The music is outstanding, and the graphics hit right on the nail. It was fun to switch between DDR and cooking. (It was tense for me because my meter almost went to 0 as I was cooking. 😅) This should have more ratings, honestly.
@Anthony Krafft Thank you! I understand your point about intertwining the two game elements more. If we ever were to continue working on this game way may have to put some more creative thought into this.
@Yack Sebblen Thanks so much for the compliments! I'm glad you like love the music. I'm so proud of my cousin @urukagami. He's so talented :3! Thanks for playing!
I love rhythm games, so I had lots of fun playing it. The music is great, but it seemed to me that the sync between music and graphics was a bit off. I was a very skilled keyboard Stepmania player and I love perfect sync :) I wonder if you can fix it (I played macOS version).
Wow ! Awesome game ! I really like the rythm games and this one is pretty cool ! (Maybe a music with deeper percussion would be a little more relevant).
Love it !
The game is too hard for me and i am not very good at these kind of game I think it could be better if the arrows and the pot were on the same axis in a way tht we could see the ingredients falling in the pot Keep working on games

This was fun, and nicely presented! I particularly like the vegetables as they fall into the pot. I managed 5050-ish points, which was enough for a Godly ratatouille.
The game is very challenging, keep up the good work ✊
The gameplay is just as much fun as the music. I enjoy the artwork. However since I'm not really the best at these games my request might be out of the norm. An option to assign different keys instead of the arrows. If for example I could set it to a straight row of keys as Q,W,E,R I feel I'd hit the multi veggies easier.
I really like how you've blended together both the cooking and rhythm game elements. It was clever to incorporate an aspect of cooking - eg. adding in the vegetables as what would make the "rhythm" portion, and also give the player time to do the other cooking aspects such as turning up the heat, adding seasoning and stirring. The rhythm portion for the most part seems pretty reasonable, although I'll admit it's not very kind for first players. Nonetheless, the Cooking mode doesn't really stop if you mess up, which I think is nice as it allows people to practice the motions and replay to try and improve their score without the frustration of a game over. I like how you also included the Endurance mode as a challenge, too.
The music was quite well done - there were "cooking game" elements mixed in with "rhythm game" elements, although I would have liked to hear more heavier drums, as they will really help to drive the "rhythm game" parts more. To me, the percussion was kind of soft. I do like how the music kind of gets really intense towards the end ish...though.
I don't know if I can 100% prove this is happening, but the game appears to not be taking any of my double key inputs. I am almost certain that I press the keys at the exact same time, right on the spot, but the game keeps telling me I missed them for some reason. That was really the only huge issue I had with the game. Aside from that, it was fun.
A super fun rhythm game. I especially liked the graphics and the humour in the game. Sadly the game was way too fast for me. But overall a very well made LD game. Well done.
I wasn't coordinated enough on the vegetables so I didn't do well, but the concept is awesome! I also like seeing the cut veggies fall back down into the pot on the right. Makes the whole concept hang together very nicely.
Hi guys ! Is there a bug for the "double keys" ? When I pressed both of them the game says miss but if I only press one of them it's perfect.
