I like the concept a lot, but I think you could have done a bit more with it. Maybe make the player unable to walk straight if they get too drunk, or perhaps they feel sick if they jump too quickly. What you have is quite good though, I could see this being a fun couch/party game to play with friends.

A good start to a game. I agree with the previous comment, more could be done in game to represent the drinking aspect of the game with new features. Rounds are short . New/ longer maps could counter this to make them last a bit longer. Perhaps adding in obstacles in maps? Would like to see more happen in this game!

Nice concept for a game. It could have done with a little bit more of a unique flair instead of just engine content. 1 suggestion for making the PlayerCharacter feel more drunk: take a look at physics based animations, they can be fun.
hahahahahah good idea xDD

It's a pretty good idea, but, like other people have said, the drunkenness doesn't really do much. Adding obstacles and making it harder to control as you get drunk would help a lot. Maybe you could also make it so that you have to stand still while drinking so that the player would have to make a strategic choice about when to drink.

Alright, lets see if I can give you some more good and valuable feedback other than "needs more content" as everybody else is saying. My game also turned out super short so I'm definitely not gonna judge based on that.
So, I actually think a 60 second timer is a very good idea.
The graphics, controls, player model, movement, physics (ball's physics especially) were all really well done and well made and very smooth and polished. I definitely appreciated that.
The "drunkness" was kind of out of context, but it was alright.
Controls were very smooth and easy to use, intuitive and that's good. As I said, physics were really well made as well.
At first I was trying to figure out a KICK button :D lol
I think this is a fun concept overall, AI was definitely functional, not top notch but definitely functional, animations were great everything was smooth, I'm actually really impressed by all of that.
Regarding content, since you already had AI in place, why not make a larger play field and make it a 2v2? would have been more engaging, but overall it wasn't bad.
Reminded me of Rocket League lol :D
I can't really think of a game and how you could turn this into a full scale game / project, but I think this was a nice concept and learning project if nothing else. I think you have a very solid base and skills and can make something great :D so :thumbsup_tone1: :thumbsup_tone1: :thumbsup_tone1:
I liked it, I think it was very polished and very nicely made. Well done!
p.s. I may have repeated myself more times than I should have, sorry... I'm very repetitive :/

Nice concept. I can really see a great game hatching in there.
Nice easily playable game! But i didn't get to choose what size the window was and at first I continuously keept klicking out of the window and moving the window! And The sound when you drank kinda sounds like a glass being broken, which I found weird, and I was like "Did I press the right button?". I get the drunken aspect of it though it could have been done a lot of ways, and have other effects like it would tilt the screen, make the controls feel off! It is a good game, and I see a lot of potential in it, and the AI is pretty fine! Wish I could run though!
I think I found like some others have commented, that the feeling of and therefore the aspect of being drunk was a bit out of context and would have needed to be more integrated than just the blur. Though the blur looked nice. The running and the ball worked nice, but I would have liked a bit of a reset time after goals. The bell was good, because there would have been too hard to remember and notice some of the rules. I don't think I ever had anything other than the goals and the 10s rule. And since time between goals was that short in general most of the time, I would suggest reducing that complexity to goals only. If you really like the 10s rule, I would amend it to be 10s without touching the ball or something like that. One neat thing that could be quite possible would be that you start to see two semitransparent opponent when you get more drunk making the game effectively 2 vs 1.

Well Done
It seems like you're in some sort of a zone of danger. Let me help you out:)
I like the idea! The game plays well and it made me smile. As for the shortcomings, I'm sure you're perfectly aware of them. The game lacks polish. It could use better graphics, better UI, perhaps a few more game mechanics. The core idea is strong though and I have to rate this entry favorably for what's already there. Good job!
Double post by mistake.
The game was short, simple and fun to play. Would love to have a brawl in the end with the A.I. Plus some guns or melee weapons could be a good addition. Nice work @ultrarat.
I’m not sure if you were able to see it, but I played your game on my stream at https://www.twitch.tv/saoigames tonight.
I misunderstood at first and thought your game was for VR. Strangely every time I tried to launch the game it opened up SteamVR and acted like it wanted to be played in VR which added to my confusion.
As for the game play I wish that the opponent wasn't as good so I had a chance of winning. I got close to tieing a few times but if you don't get shots in at the beginning you are lost.
There were a lot of things going on, and many buttons to track while also loosing field of vision. It was disorienting when I returned to my goal after each goal was scored, especially as I became drunker. It would have been nicer if the camera zoomed out or blinked so I could get a better clue that I would be returning after the enemy scored a goal. I didn't always realized that it had happened.
I never heard crowd members yell, so I didn't drink as a result. I also don't feel like I should have taken a shot because the ball got stuck. Instead of me needing to take an action to drink after a score it might have worked better to either have me take a drink to teleport back to my goal and be the activator for when I moved, or to automatically consume alcohol when I return to the goal line after a fade to complete black for a second pausing the timer and delaying the enemy's action. Auto consuming the alcohol would mean I could just focus on drinking every 10 second and try to play the game of soccer. You could still keep the visual changes that helped reinforce the theme.
Are you going to keep working on this? I think this could be a fun split screen local multiplayer game with controllers.
