This was a pretty fun experience. I wish I could have had a bit more instruction or cues of what to do and how. It was a little confusing in the beginning. Being able to "complete" levels and continue to the next without actually doing anything in the current level seemed a bit odd.
Hey Wave, cheers for the feedback, I know there are a lack of instructions in the game; if you need any specific help or advice just ask me directly and I'll help best I can.
Baking the Cake and taking raw ingredients to the exit are optional score bonuses and act as a difficulty modifier for the player if you want to get top score; we tried it where you had to make the perfect cake to complete the level and it felt restrictive (I've scurried through the exit door without collecting all additional food tokens more than a few times when the cats were chasing me).
Quick rundown for anyone interested;
1. To complete a level you just need to run to the exit. 2. Additional score is given for taking food to the exit. 3. Cooking only the ingredients shown in the top left corner recipe at the cooking station will reward you with the perfect pink cake. 4. Cooking stations have a minimum ingredient amount (usually 3+) before you can start baking your cake. 5. The maximum score for any level is a perfect pink cake + all extra raw ingredients collected + all rats alive + reaching the exit ASAP. 6. The music is catchy as hell.
Pretty fun to play. Really enjoyed having to move as a group and thing about where each mouse was. Made it was more challenging. Much Love FBG <3
Thanks for the feedback!

Really fun to play. Allowing the player to continue after losing a few rodents/not cooking perfectly was a nice touch, because even stealh-challenged people (such as myself) get to enjoy the later parts of the game.
Thanks Vovin, that was the intention :P

Cool game! :) Stealth + cooking was my pick on the theme too, so I'm happy to get to see someone else's take on the same combination of genres! Ha! I love how you built the mechanic of the mice movement, where they move at once but not always together, and you may leave some behind depending on how you plan your moves.

Nice take of the theme, and challenging puzzle/stealth/cook game! It was fun to play, so good job!

Love the group controls and trying to do multiple things at once. We also did a mash-up of stealth and cooking!
I had fun playing it. 😃 I thought it was quite humourous. I like that the player controls multiple mice at the same time! It was a very enjoying challenge, congrats!

Ok so this game made me remember a game I played as a little kid called Rodents Revenge and I have so much nostalgia at the moment.
I did encounter some bugs where food or mice would get stuck in walls. RIP mice boys.
Really creative blend of ideas! Great work

ratatouille the game? It was fun, but i think the difficulty spiked way too quickly. I look forward to seeing more of this!
@ctran13 the spiking difficulty was intentional due to the lack of levels / content to give some replayability / challenge for players. Our level designer had alot of fun making the final level (and he managed to clear it with all Rats + perfect cake with ~30 seconds to spare so they are doable)
@sndr Thank you, I tried your game and it was delightful, you went a similar approach but had a lovely polished little game

Very well done! Gameplay is fun and music is catchy, indeed. Art looks good for jam game. It feels like it is possible to play more with splitting the group of rats mechanics

Nice work!
It was really fun to control the rats, I liked the "herd" feeling and the possibility to keep playing even after one of my dudes got caught.
I was a bit confused on what to do tough, even that I got the general concept and objectives, a better tutorial would be very welcome.
