Thanks for playing! I hope you had a good jam. =)
I would love to see the source code for your game!
I love the genres you chose! Hilarious!
It was a little confusing at first, but once I understood what you needed to do, I saw a lot of potential to what I could do.
I wish there was more variety to what each character could do, but that's a very small complaint.
The graphics looked great, and the animations fit well with the game.
Nice work!
What a great idea! But the crop counter doesn't reset from the previous day, so you can't really lose.
Thanks for the comments, and that VERY important bug report!
I fixed the crop count so that it resets after each week, and the new version is up at itch.io.
You can also grab the source code now. Hope that helps!
Your game immediately talked to me, I really love the art, and the theme is fully respected.
It was a bit confusing at first, but when you understand how it works, it's really pleasant, and a real challenge to fulfill the mission.
It could be nice to be able to chose the path the character takes when there is several possibilities, sometimes you have to crush your beloved crops to move ;(
Nice work though !
This is cute. Played for a few rounds, got a hang of who did what [and how the various actions changed their areas of effect around depending on who you picked]. Is there any particular reason the area resets after a week? As of right now there's not a huge reason to do anything once you've reached the goal each week, unless I'm missing something with how things shuffle around upon resetting. But yeah, it's fun, what's here works, music reminds me on the US Sonic CD soundtrack, vaguely - it's all cool.
Pretty cool idea, its nice stylised, and simple. I think the controls could be explained or executed better. Took me a while to figure out I could click on my player to change to action mode.
It'd be nice if I could rotate the world around. IT can be hard to click on tiles.
Not sure if intended, but I can walk through stone?
Good idea and well executed, the green and red portions of the icons that show the area of effect for the tools wasn't immediately clear, but once I understood it was very cool.
Really cool puzzle game - I also really loved the art style - great work!
Surprisingly addictive! Loved the metal gear-like music and sound effects. I spent a bit of time on this one which is a good sign. Good work!
I thought that the ability to have to move is really confusing, but it's not bad otherwise
This is a well done game!
My main thought from playing it is that I felt like the different characters powers were hard to work together. Like, at no point did I have a moment of like "Ohh!! I can do THIS clever thing!" It'd be cool if there was some thing you could do maybe seemed overpowered where you could use all the powers together in a clever way, and the player experienced that early on. Like, maybe each week they have different powers, and you need to figure out the best way to use them, and at the start it's really obvious but then later you have to try harder.
The game could probably use some difficulty tweaks too.
I also felt while the graphics worked, if they code across as more "hard core" it would've added to the humour/dissonance more
But yeah this is a solid game, nice concept and execution!
Also, props for the pun, it rules hahah.
How many weeks are there? I only survived 3.
It was a neat feeling to realize after trying a couple of times that the different robots had different patterns for each ability. However, I didn't figure out any very strong ways to combine the different robot patterns, as someone else mentioned.
I think the levels should probably end once you reach the goal, since there doesn't seem to be any reason for you to keep doing stuff once you reach the goal early, and you can just keep skipping days to the end.
I think the potential is pretty good overall. It feels quite polished.
