Very interesting idea and well executed. The green circles could move faster though.

Interesting theme combination! Like Beelzeboss said, the pace of the circles is way too slow, twice as fast may work but that might be too fast as well.

Fun to play, but playing the same levels over and over again, should be replaced by checkpoints each level and a fixed starting amount of energy, then maybe you would have to collect the batteries to even reach the levelend, maybe you could also boundle up 3 levels in a row and put the checkpoint right after level 3, I reached level 6 I think, like .. I reached it twice, and I reached level 4 and level 5, so 4 playthroughts as a total.

Good idea, but it's frustratingly slow and rhythm game without music doesn't feel right.

jchaplin 2018-04-24 17:31

Cool concept! I kind of wanted the green circles to move faster, but I know I would not be able to keep up with them. Nice job.

Really liked the concept and rhythm games can apparently combine with stealth games:P (even without sound) One change I would make: When you die you don't go over to Floor 1 but to the begging of the floor you were on.

I liked the idea very much, could be a lot faster for my taste though

theamazingb 2018-04-24 17:52

I really dig the concept. For 48 hours this is pretty good. I would try moving the rhythm meter more in your field of view. I found myself switching my glance back and forth a lot

jgundersen 2018-04-24 17:53

Circles could have been faster, or at least started right away. Great game, very well made

mmyhre 2018-04-24 17:57

Cool mixing of genres, good work!

royur 2018-04-24 18:19

Very slow paced. Wish it 10 times faster with music. Good idea though, keep it up.

le-american 2018-04-24 22:42

i really like the idea but its a bit too tedious to play

linky439 2018-04-25 13:12

I like the idea, but, like other, I feel like it is way too slow for its own good.

And yeah, the lack of music harms your game overall, unfortunately. That being said, the idea is cool and you managed to make a game of it that fits well the theme. Congrats and keep up the good work! :)

Rhythm games without any sort of music are kind of annoying to play. It's hard to get into the flow of the beat, especially since it's so slow. I'd have preferred a necrodancer style of movement where you hit the arrow keys in the beat instead of using the arrow keys to predetermine your direction and then using space. It just seems like an unnecessary extra step to do the main action in the game.

Interesting combination of genres, however the game desperately needs sound! It would make it just so much better. Otherwise it works pretty well, but I would suggest trying to only (but always) move enemies when you miss a beat (or let it slip), this could maybe add some more excitement to the game. I think the tempo of the game is alright if you extend on the aspect of planning ahead, because otherwise it could be overwhelming. Enjoyed this overall, good job!

Really cool idea, as others have said before, this game begs for some music. I would also like to be able to predict the movement of the enemies somehow, it feels a little too random right now. Graphics are simple but nice and consistent. Beats could be faster too, but still, nice work overall!
