This should be under Jam, if you used other people's art. It'll even give you an extra day to make the assets.

Haha I was wondering why I couldn’t fire, but it seems that it’s not implemented yet? Anyway, trying to avoid the asteroids is fun.
A suggestion for immediate improvement is better collision feedback: - audio feedback: increase the volume of the explosion sound sample, or reduce the volume of the power up; at first I thought there was something missing. [Audacity](http://www.audacityteam.org/) is convenient to edit samples. - visual feedback: some rumble maybe (add randomized jitter to the ship sprite coordinates for 0.5 seconds, maybe)
I can't seem to run this one; a command line pops up and disappears immediately.
Can you at least record a video on how it plays? Thumbnail made me curious :).
i ll try this. Suppose you encoutered a OpenGL device creation failure.
I managed to run it, and dude you surprised me with reggae-ish music in a space game :PPP. Good work.
I like the reggae on space sound track iheeahiaehiaehi, for what is implemented is pretty cool, if it had the shot would be very good!
Well, thank you for the music, but as i said i just was lucky enough to find it on internet. I just coded the game.
I think this game needs more improvement. For now I can only see some potential, but it needs more work on it. Would be nice, if you had added some of your own graphics :3
I think i will work on that game again. The problem, is that i use my own engine, and it is far away to do all i need. First of all i need to work on the collision detection that is really bad.
Congrats on making that with you own engine ! The game would benefit for a bit more permissive hit boxes and a shooting mecanism in my opinion but good work !
Thanks a lot. I m glad you enjoy it. I will soon review the collision mecanism but i was very short on time for that (i did it in 48h like a compo except for asset from google)
Pretty nice job! A major improvement over what I saw last. The art is nice, but you didn't make it. The audio is strange for a space ship game, so it's pretty innovative. Kinda fun. Nice entry
Congratulations on using your own engine.
It misses shooting mechanics a lot, that would make it quite cool game. The music doesn't really fit the game, but is interesting. I did like it (especially for using your own engine).
Keep up the good work!
It's clearly unfinished, but what is there works well. I like how you can fly infinitely to the left or right (or maybe you just wrap around?). The graphics look pretty nice, especially the planets in the background.
thanks a lot. The space is infinite (what a news !) In fact, i spawn particles around the camera and as soon they are too farn they are destroyed to be replaced by new ones. The concept of the parallax (with planets) was from the beginining in my mind. I thought it would be a small improvement of the particle system and it would bring a lot in sensation. In the same idea, there was no sound at just 2h before deadline and i think this is at the end important for the game
Space reggae + infinite horizontal freedom are extremely refreshing :D Congrats on shipping a game for your first LD ;)
Thanks. I am the very first one to be surprised to have succeed shipping anything. I kept this first music found on google because i thought it gave personnality to the game.
It ran fine on my machine. I liked how the camera behaves. A numerical score and a game over screen would be nice.
I like the infinite scrolling left and right, unusual and funny to experiment with. You also have a nice arcade feeling on this starting sound !
Even if it wasn't your own music and art you put them together really well. Fun little game.
Okay it is clear the game is unfinished, but what is there is simple and fun.
