Nice! A game made with LOVE! :D

Just a tip: Add some screenshots!

Only tried it controlling both players myself, but I love the effects (especially the mode 7 like thing)

This is a really solid compo game! 2 player split screen games are a lost art. Great use of the theme.

Nice two player game! Had fun with my nephew.

This is a nicely done 2P game! Really fun having a lot of curses on yourself while still trying to control your tank and evading your enemy's shots. The art and the music are good too. The only thing I wish was handled better was motivating the players to go and take more "Ingredients" (or curses) not just doing for the sake of testing the game. Still I can only congratulate you for your job on your game, great job and keep them coming!

It is a good game, but i did not have a second Player :slight_frown:

LĂ–VEd it.

Nice idea with the curses, maybe you could've done more than 8 and made them random on the start of each round.

My dear friend imagination and I really enjoyed playing through it.

Congratz on those camera effects man!

I'd really like to see a more worked version of this. Maybe with networking or with a bot. Keep it up and good luck with those ratings!

Good game, had lots of fun playing it. The effects of the curses are really cool and different. I wish there was a reason for me to pick up the curses, maybe the game could have points and the curses would work as a multiplier, I don't really know. Also, maybe add an indicator for the amount of kills? (Maybe there is one and I didn't see it)

Overall a good and funny game. Congratulations!

Some of the curses were too much of a negative modifier to be worth getting, I would be careful about stuff e.g. the control swap. Decent entry though, reminds me of Return Fire.

Cute! Of all things, the thing that came to mind when I was playing it were the powerups that messed up your opponent's controls in Yoshi's Cookie, so bonus points for bringing back good memories :)

And just like that game, if I were going to play this game more, I'd probably be training myself to play better with the curses active :D

Balance felt right and you came up with a good variety of curses.

great job! I liked the effects, some of them did trick my senses :joy:

I didn't have anyone else to play with, but I did enjoy the various effects of picking up items. I also really liked the background music. Nice work.

I'm afraid that I don't have a second player around to play with, but I believe I got the gist of the game from testing it out alone.

The core concept is a good take on the theme, and makes a lot of sense as a multiplayer game. Interestingly, there aren't a whole lot of games that involve competition for negative items, despite that it's a pretty effective mechanic.

The music works well, although I could see it becoming repetitive at some point.

The graphical effects are all very effective. However, they legitimately made my head hurt a little -- and if that is a common symptom, perhaps the effects should be toned down a bit.

I also wonder if perhaps the game would be benefited by a mechanic that let you drop your curses? Or maybe one that let you shoot them at the other player? Just ideas, as, again, I didn't have a second player to play with.

Really, though, the only thing that I think would be particularly beneficial would be some sort of single-player mode or online mode, as those are both more convenient than local two-player splitscreen. Of course, they are also both significantly harder to implement.

Overall, good job.
