Overall, I think the concept is really fun. But the difficulty curve is way too steep (I've been trying for like 10 minutes to get past the level with the warning that it may be hard). Could be something that would be cool to see after some more playtesting though
The idea is really good, the unfortunate thing seems to be that it is difficult enough to be frustrating.

Very creative take on the theme, and a frantic mechanic of keeping powered up. I liked how the power made you stronger and also killed you, ever faster. I found the game way too hard to enjoy. I stuck it out for the first few levels, but then I wasn't willing to keep trying the later ones over and over.

Unfortunately I cannot play your Windows 64 bit game on my 32 bit machine, could you add another build?
@gonutz Looks like GM:S doesn't give me this option... And I've read it should work. I've added a ZIP file, please try it, but I don't know if it will work.

It is a little bit frustrating but overall it is a good entry. :) You just need to fix the difficulty curve and you got something good in your hand, keep up! ;)
Very tricky indeed. The controls are suitable for basic platforming, but the character does start sliding around once jacked up on power making some of the jumps harder than they should.
There is a very small window for survival once you charge up on energy. Take just a bit too little and you cannot make the jump, a bit too much and you are dead. I think that window should be slightly wider so that the levels weren't as punishing as now.
Ok work otherwise.

Unfortunately I couldn't get past the third level, cool idea but I feel like you could have introduced the mechanics better.

I give up at the same level than shown in example, because of the difficulty. But the take of the theme is interesting, it needs to focus on unexpected thing than others puzzles runners. Good entry, but you don't still have enough time to get the 20 votes until jugding end… :(

It was a good puzzle game. But it was a bit hard to get the mechanics of the game. Also, I didnt passed over the third level. If there was some sound effects, it would be better. Also, if you animated the character it would be also better. But still a good little puzzle game ! Hope you'll improve it after the jam !

Interesting concept but super hard - since you die so fast it's hard to get used to what's going on. Lots of bonking too which was really frustrating. You can also die by falling off the side next to the goal on the last level which is a bummer. This certainly has some potential though, nice work!
Ok, so I beat the game. (Nice ending!) I think I can realistically beat levels 1-3 about 75% of the time. Level 4 about 10% and level 5 about 10% also. I liked the mechanics and the idea and actually didn't mind a majority of the difficulty. There were a couple of parts that caused some needless frustration though. I drew some circles around them.

This block caused me the most deaths in the entire game. I like the stutter step you have to make to get the right amount of energy to get yourself up to the platform without exploding, but the next jump is needlessly difficult thanks to that one block. I think if that block were gone it would make the game a lot less frustrating.

The frustrating section actually isn't that bad, except for that one block. Removing that block I think would make this better.
These are just suggestions from my playthroughs though. I agree with others that the difficulty curve could have been better. But I did like the game!
