I don't see this art style a lot for LDs, so it's a refreshing change. While the character art isn't perfect it's pretty good for 72 hours.

The game is a little bit short, which is expected of a LD. I like the storm sounds, but the door sound effect is too loud. I was a little sad the extra faerie's dialog didn't really add to the environment. Like maybe they could have vaguely mentioned changelings or something about the grim reaper guy.

Incredible graphics! It is really amazing ! A lot of contents and dialogues in a short amount of time. I play RPG horror a lot and I love the mood you managed to transcribe. Really good work! I hope you will continue to work on your game and add some interactions :)

Good mood and plot, but I think the game lacks of gameplay and mechanics. It's also a bit too short (I'm saying that but my game is even shorter x)). Anyway, if you are used to create other genre games, it's good that you experience other styles =)

Really cool style. great work for a 72 hours game jam.

I think it was okay considering it was for a game jam, but the plot didn't really draw me in and it wasn't exactly scary. I did like the humorous dialogue between the dullahan's disembodied head and the main character though, when he doesn't realize his body is somewhere else. :) I thought the graphics were quite well done and the plot was a pretty good start but of course it was very short, which is to be expected from LD games anyway. I do wonder why the girls weren't all in the same room since it was a sleepover, and why they weren't in pajamas or at least some more casual clothes. I also think the guest rooms felt too big and empty. Think about rooms in games like Pokemon or the Legend of Zelda (specifically the top-down view ones like Link to the Past), which are much smaller but have the walls lined with stuff to make them feel full. I don't want to discourage you though. It's definitely ambitious to do VNs and RPGs for a game jam, and its a breath of fresh air from the constant barrage of games about robots and space, so I think you did a pretty good job considering the circumstances of doing this sort of a game in 72 hours.

Interesting art style, although for me there was too much dialog and too little to do (the game was just about going through few linear dialogs), there were no choices or any other way how could the game ended - which could make it a bit more interesting.

Nevertheless I did like dialogs as it put up atmosphere, at least a little bit. Good job!

Cute little story. My only lament is I couldn't figure out what the turning on/off lights mechanic was for. I could still see everything in the dark, and nothing in the game forced me to turn them on, so I just left them off in all the rooms.

I like the humor. The fairy made me actually lol. The plot was interesting; I've never heard of such terrorizing fairies before. I really like how intuitive the controls feel. I'm wondering what tools you're using; the game is bug free and combines visual novels with RPGs, something I've wanted to do for a long time.

Story, graphics really amazing for a 72 hrs jam. You got a system running well so I'm willing to see more from this. Great job.

The game has impressive character artwork, considering the 72 hour time constraint. The stormy mood for the game is set really well with its lighting. Some problems I had with the game is that the ending feels exposition heavy, I wish there was more to do in the game other than to search through rooms, and (my largest complaint) I wish there was a better indicator of where doorways are, especially in the hallways, where there are no light switches.

Overall, an intriguing linear story game, but suffers from a few problems.

@angela-he Thank you so much! I really loved your entry, it looks so fluid and the art is spectacular! I made it on RPG Maker MV- it's a pretty easy engine to learn and great for making RPG VNs.

I like the story and I like the artwork but I couldn't understand what the light turning on and off mechanic was for.

ganbaregameskyle 2017-08-13 01:10

There's not much horrific about default RPG Maker mechanics, faux-anime character designs, or Haram the fairy.

- nice graphics. - intresting premise. - not sure where the gameplay is... was more of a story that you had to find your way though.
