Fun game although the UI (like the Username input) is a bit weird.

martinus 2017-08-01 11:57

Very interesting game ! My actual highscore is 200. The graphics is nice and the music too. PS: It is impossible to see what you type when you choose your pseudo :( The text is in the same color as the box I think !

nice game overall, the only real problems are the inputs

ariawyn 2017-08-01 12:07

The art style is incredibly clean and fitting to the game. The idea behind the game is a fun one and very fitting to the theme. The gameplay, however, is not the most interesting, but it is a bit of fun for at least the first view rounds. The game became a lot easier as well after I realized that there actually was a marker for whether you are rating a friends post or not, however I did notice it the first few rounds, perhaps this could have been mentioned in the short tutorial text that lists who is your friend and who isn't because then the player doesn't have to remember who is a friend among the positive users. The addition of the leaderboard manages to keep at least some interest in playing the game over repeated playthroughs.

Nice idea! My highscore is 290.

A fun game, got a highscore in there :) The input for the username didn't show the characters. Good work

Thank you for your feedback guys :) On the subject of the Input field, I fixed it (I needed to set the text to overflow).

guillaumem 2017-08-01 13:16

Nice idea, simple and efficient !

rulrite 2017-08-01 13:22

Great job! It's very simple and easy to understand the rules, but trying to work out which button to push is a lot harder than it sounds (especially given the time limit). The art style is very clean and crisp, too.

I really like the idea behind the 'favourite' option - I hesitated every time a smiley face popped up. Wouldn't want to miss the opportunity for more power!

A nice game! Simple and fun. Very minimalistic design fitting the theme. Also a nice execution of the "Running out of Power" theme :) Only thing bothering me was that you (at least with the web version) couldn't add numbers to the username, but all in all I liked the game!

captaindreamcast 2017-08-01 13:47

This was the first game I played with a leaderboard, a cool way to encourage replayability, even if only to see your stupid name on the board. Also very immersive, only thing I felt were missing were sound effects when clicking the buttons. Feels very polished though, I really liked it!

Wow nice game! I really enjoyed playing this, I like the amount tension running out of power brings. It would be nice to have the messages be something other than lorem ipsum and to have key input to not be limited to you're mouse movement. This would work amazingly as a mobile game - ironic right? Good Luck :)

not-a-number 2017-08-01 17:56

Nice game, that leaderboard really got me, had to play until I whas #1.

automatonvx 2017-08-01 19:03

Simple gameplay but fun, leaderboard keeps you coming back, I wanted to have one also but that feature got cut :disappointed: I only managed 190, I knew there was a reason I wasn't into social media. Really nice clean UI, Music was pretty cool too and fit the mood. Cool concept also making a game out of the gameification of real life, very meta.

ghost-pandora 2017-08-01 20:04

Really fun and addictive game, I love it! Personal record: 1470. Sorry @not-a-number but you're not #1 anymore!

remondo 2017-08-01 20:46

Simple but fun. Good work!

roguenoodle 2017-08-02 11:34

Oddly addictive (like real world social media, I suppose) - even managed to get on to the leaderboards with 300 \:D/ I wish the buttons were a bit bigger, but that could be the resolution of the screen I was playing on. Also would have nice to see actual (fake) messages instead of placeholder text, but there's only so much time in a jam, right? Nice work :)

A beautiful and fun to play game. Would make a great mobile game.
