I like being able to force the other cars into obstacles! Power lasts so long that it doesn't feel like its ever a limiting factor, but overall a very clean simple game!

It's a nice simple little game. Art and sounds are not bad. At one point I think I encountered a bug where a sound effect began to constantly fire. It uses the theme well and the mechanics work well. The AI is predictable and does not make mistakes but it's hard to make a good AI in such short time. Overall very good.
I prefer finished minigames than polished unplayable concepts ;) I can't say better than previous comments, but I have to say that I really likes the old-oil-motor sound for an electric car :P
Reminds me of a handheld game I used to play when I was small. Other commenters are correct: well executed mini-game is better than a big mess of half-finished ambition.
I like the audio. Nice game!
The web page doesn't load?
nice basic racer, a little bit buggy in places, would of liked the running out of power idea to be a little more than fuel though
Pretty fun NES-style simple game. The 'regular' speed seemed a lot slower than necessary, I held down space the entire time. Also the cars getting up next to you are really lethal, not because they steal your energy but because they run you off the road and block you. Maybe that was intentional, haha. Nice job on getting a fun game out there!
Couldn't run this! I ran it on Firefox, got the following errors: SyntaxError: missing ; before statement[Learn More] LevelController.js:13:6 ReferenceError: cargarNivelesJSON is not defined[Learn More] GameEngine.js:156:5
@wilthord I think it's pretty cool!
Things I liked:
The Gameplay: I found the game to be a very interesting take on "Running out of power", as it not only fit the theme well but the gameplay itself was fun. I enjoyed trying to trick the other cars with my speed, and moving last second to make them hit obstacles.
The Sound: The sound was pretty cool too. I really like that you made sound effects for wiping out, speeding up, cars destroying, etc. It made the game feel really receptive.
Things I didn't like:
The Art: I think most of the art itself is decent, but I don't think the sprites worked well together. They seemed all of a different art style, which made it not as appealing to look at. I think aswell that you should have made the road take up more of the screen. The entire bottom half is just grass which is pretty useless.
Overall, I think this is a great entry. Good luck!
The game is nice. I didn't like so much the audio, it was typical for car driving, but sometimes it feel to harsh. About the gameplay, is easy get rid of the cars, but it's also easy that a car trap you to crash. Of course you can accelerate, but just by accelerating you can't get rid of the other cars. It just a matter of balance, not big deal. Other than this, well done!
Really fun idea of gameplay, but far too easy. Player have too much energy or looses it too slow. Making cars drive into obstacles is amazing, but very simple to perform.
The idea of exploiting enemies behavior to get rid of them is pretty good!
Is it intentional that some batteries can pop on obstacles?
I like the classical graphics. Those and the sound design reminded me of some good 8-bits games era.
Pretty simple and easy game. I did have fun though. Cool concept but gameplay too simple. Overall good game, :)
I like games with simple gameplay. It would be nice some physics when you change lane.

Nice game! Like the sprites and the SFX. Also the out of control spinning of your enemies is really nicely done, it felt really chaotic. But after 300' I stopped playing because it didn't get any harder, I just kept on pressing space and collecting energy. It would be nice if it would go gradually faster over time, so there is an end point.
Overall nicely done!
Fun little game! If there's one thing I would suggest, it would be steadily increasing levels of difficulty.
I love causing the other cars to crash, but the challenge never seems to ramp up and the other cars' AI doesn't seem to get better they always stay one lane off you and you can force them to crash pretty reliably. nice entry overall.
