Link not working?
Yeah. Got a 404 too
Sorry about that, I made a last minute link change and forgot to update. Fixed now.
Nice idea, but lacks polishing(it would be nice if it would show how much money things costs). Also, a bigger tutorial would make it more easy to understand.
That was a fun. Got to the point where I couldn't click upgrades fast enough to stop my money from capping out towards the end. Wish there would've been a bit more towards the end once I had upgraded all my converters to max and was just waiting for all the power to be drained, though.
Sorry, I didn't well understood what I was supposed to do and why :/
Fun idea - I probably shouldn't feel so satisfied after taking all the power and money in the world, but I do.
I wasn't sure I was understanding something at first, but I kept clicking anyway. It was a little boring (not my type of game), but then all escalated quickly.
It was oddly satisfying to see all the converters blinking super fast at the same time. I just hope I didn't sabotage my own entry!
I wouldn't say it was fun, but it was somewhat interesting.
(BTW, "http://" is missing in the second link.)
It sure takes a while for me to get some certain upgrades, and there's a pretty generous amount of power given that it never really feels like I'm running out of it so easily. Also, are the other blank squares supposed to mean something? They seem to never be used, but appear to light up after a certain number of clicks. There is something satisfying about the light blinking faster, though, as you get the proper upgrades for it. There are some interesting elements here, but it did feel like it took too long to reach satisfaction.
EDIT: However, I kept the game open in the background, kept amping up the speed and values and eventually got to the point where I maxed out my money and had to watch the world deplete in power. MWAHAHAHA! Still took quite a while though. It would be interesting to note how long it took to deplete the world of power and maybe give some incentive to try and do it in the shortest amount of time. But yeah, even as I write this message, I haven't even knocked down the first 9 digit yet (and that includes the time it took to take and save the screenshot, plus add the edit). You may want to knock a digit off or something.

@random-storykeeper haha, yea those unlock more generators, they turn a bit darker when you have enough money to buy them. That's my bad lol, I was gonna add an unlocked lock when they became available but its been a hectic week and I ran out of time. Thanks for playing btw!
The game was interesting at first, but like most clicker games, it got boring pretty fast. Also, I'm not sure if this is a glitch, but every time you upgrade, you lose all of you money instead of a set amount. The game probably would've stayed interesting longer if you had some sort of graphical differences between the converters. The game didn't really seem to be affected by the theme. The way you implemented it doesn't really affect it because you start with so much power. Otherwise though, it was a decent game considering it was your first Ludum Dare!
Just a tip for the Ludum Dare, most people won't spend 15+ minutes on a game(I think the average is closer to 5 minutes unless you really get their attention), so try to shorten it a bit next time. I learned this the hard way by people not even caring enough about my game to read the instructions and only playing it for about 3 minutes then deciding to rate it. That happened back in LD 35 though. :P
Usually you do have to abuse the system a bit if you want good rating by packing as much polish as you can into a short amount(5 to 15 minutes) of time(gameplay wise).
@cmlsc Thanks for the advice! That is a really good point about the attention span. I never really thought about it until I started playing other people's games and felt the same way lol. Definitely going to take that into account for the next one.
I'm testing all games, so why not this one.

As soon as the desired amount is reached, the following boxes are opened, although the previous ones are not yet purchased, but purchases are available.
I'm not a big fan of this kind of game... I don't really know where the fun is :P
Mindless endless clicker, but why not? These kinds of games hook me for a while but then my hands hurt and I write an automation script for it. In this case I could let it run in the background while having dinner :-)
It is not quite clear to me where the difference between yellow and blue is, what is the cooldown? Isn't that the same as clicking more times per second?
The graphics and sound are obviously not the main focus of this game.
I like how easy the web game is playable, no unity, no download, just go to the page and start playing, very nice!
Overall a nice entry, keep up the good work!
Finally! Done it, nice ending, giving you one more fun star for that :-)
Nice game. The idea of making a clicker for the theme was very creative. :) I wish that I had more to do than simply click or be idle, perhaps you could add a gimmick or game mechanic to make the experience more interesting? Note: You included audio as a category to rate, but I did not hear any sound.
I included you game in a video about LD39, there : https://youtu.be/Hbr3Mr1TRcQ?t=262 jusk ask me if you want a translation of what I'm saying in it ;) and thank you :).
