Awesome game! Though the window's a little too small for me :)

I'm having trouble opening the mac version, I'm getting the error "You can't open the application "PlantingPower" because the Classic environment is no longer supported." This looks really cool though so I'll remember to try this when I have access to windows.

i really liked the graphics and the audio it reminded me of primordia a bit as for the gameplay its not for me but i can see that it was well made, cheers!

I liked the game but the hosting is a little wonky. Maybe use itch?

Also I found myself wondering a few times why some doors were closed and some were open.

Great graphic but I can't figure out what should I do

Great game. I really enjoyed the gameplay and the pixel art is amazing. The only issue I have is the window's size - it is too small. Overall all great game :D

Very nice pixel art, and great BGM. As the others said, the window is a bit small but it didn't bother me much. Still good fun game.

Good game and very nice graphics and sounds ! But I didn't understand the reasons of my Game Over.

paterjosch 2017-08-01 13:11

Thanks to all of you for the replies! @seanw the doors are closing and opening at more or less random times to hopefully give the player a reason to not just drive around the map in a big circle, but looking for faster ways when the specific door is closed.

@ginger9 @karreg the idea is, that the top left bar represents the power of the city, and is slowly runnning dry, so you have to find the broken down generator (direction is roughly indicated by the blue arrow) and fix it using up 2 of your batteries. The reason for your gameover would be that the generators weren't fixed fast enough. Unfortunatly it seems we forgot to fix the bar to correctly show the current energy loss. (in the moment it shows no loss at all) :( @schnarchschnitzel should be able to fix it this evening tho and provide an updated version.

about the windowsize: we created the game originally with the gameboy advance resolution (240x160) in mind, and later scaled it up to 2x. however we shouldve probably scaled up 4x instead to make up for the way bigger computer monitors.

Nice I like it, the graphics and audio are really cool and I love the level design too. Very nice game, good job!

Amazing music, visuals, gameplay. The window is a bit small and the hitboxes can be kinda strange, but it's an overall awesome game.

Really digging the graphics and sound!

Cool game and great graphics and sound.

Cute game. The graphics are really nice, and so is the audio. The gameplay itself is a little bit boring since you have no idea where the actual batteries are, you are just wandering around the place. But it works, especially for the short amount of time the game lasts. Nice work!

I am not sure if I fully understood the game. I kept following the arrow while collecting batteries to run the generators. Anyway, that was fun. The art was great; I like your designs and color palette. The audio was great too.

This was a great little game and I loved the art style!
