Nice little game you have here, The story is great and the mood was too. The graphics I could tell you were going for hand drawn but could have been slightly better, however I don't know how this matches the theme.

@sn0uk yeah, I'm not the best drawer. The robot you play is supposed to be "running out of power", I guess I didn't make that clear. Thanks for your feedback!
I never knew wells are so complicated :D
I actually liked the graphics / art style quite a bit. Very unique. I didn't understand that the robot was running out of power until it died in the end though; very sad story! -- but a neat little game :)
Nice audio and mood. Graphics were simple but thought they fit quite well, particularly the font. Ending was abrupt and as you hinted in a previous comment could have been more clear.
RIP robot :(
Very atmospheric! The visuals, the music and the story really fit together. Really liked the raw guitar tone (with raw I don't mean heavy, but more like "unpolished" :) ). The art style is simple but it works really well, I really got into the story. The pace of the robot was just perfect, the relatively low speed enhances the mood for some reason.
The only downside is that there is almost no challenge and that it is too short ;)
Well done!
I wish it was a bit longer. You had me invested because of the atmosphere created by the artstyle and music, but then it just ended.
The best part was the house interior. It had the best music track and the dialogue text looked cool. The other parts had some weird compositions and sounded a bit ouf of sync, but it worked.
The artstyle is interesting, because this is what I think of when I think of a game jam. But nearly nobody does something like this. So good for you on that one.
The gameplay is very simple, but it was fine. As I said - I wished it was longer.
Overall really cool. Nice work.
Cool atmosphere, nice sound. Blurb about controls would be great.
Thanks for the kind words people. Sorry it is a bit short, I was running out of time. I consider this more of a concept for that reason.
I crying ..... <3 !
@trasheur oh no!
so sad, good game
It was nice, but it was very short !
Graphics are very very cool, mood is very good too, but I don't understand what is the relation with "Running out of power".
I was about to say that I liked the ending, but... that ending...
Nice game! Love the graphics and the atmosphere. It is true that there's nothing that indicates that the robot is the one running out of power (I thought it was the human) and that's why you don't understand why he's the one dying at the end.
Also, in the well, if you die after you collect the key, the game still remembers that you have it (even when you see it in the screen)
Good work!
@hhsaez About the key, that was completely intentional. I don't remember why I did it, but it was a conscious choice.
I loved the art and the music. Beautiful little game!
Loved every bit of this game. Loved the art style, the story, and music. I could tell that you did everything. I wasn't too sure how it fit with the theme....until the end. Nice story and experience you have here.
My only suggestion would be to add the running out of power on the robot an actual game play mechanic. I didn't test it out, but it seemed like the robot running out of power after helping the man was more to serve the purpose of the story you were telling. Which is totally fine! But to add to it, maybe running out of power is an actual mechanic. Such that the robot could have a finite amount of power. Whenever you walk around, it lowers it. This would add a bit of strategy in where players want to move the robot. You could balance it out so the perfect game leads the robot to running out of power after he helps the man. But the player could just walk around for a bit, letting the power run out without helping the man. That says something too!
Overall, I really enjoyed this. My favorite so far. Thanks for the experience :).
I really liked the art style. And the music fit pretty well. Maybe some transitions between scenes would have been nice as well but it was just fine how it was. I wish it was a little longer! But great work!
I like the mood of the game, and I do actually think the artwork is a positive. I was wondering where the "running out of power" theme was, and I did see it eventually. I do agree with @slunkey that it may be helpful to integrate it as a mechanic.
You create a really good music with those graphics and music. I don't see the theme in it that much. Very nice that if you die it loads you back in that level. That's pretty neat. Congrats!
I think the graphics really fit well with the mood. Nice music, nice story, great experience overall. If only it could be a bit longer :( And transitions instead of displaying "loading" maybe?
Great work.
Pretty neat game, with a good story and nice atmoshpere/mood. I liked it
Lovely game. Top marks on mood from me. Lovely use of visuals and a strong approach to the game. LOVED the ending :D Simply done but nicely too.
