That was gloomy enough, I was unsure of how the visuals were supposed to be connected with all the text that was read aloud, but I'm glad that you included controls on this page since all text on the title screen in in french.

I like the buzzy soundtrack and sound of narrator's voice that slowly sets the right mood thanks to the transcending perspective, did you record it all by yourself or use any public pre-made audio assets? Changing sliders' values became repetitive very quickly because there is no way to combine their impact on the environment, and they are basically doing the same things no matter how their values are combined.

Interesting game! I spent the first half figuring out what the sliders do and which ones I liked most, then the latter half trying to make them match the mood of the speech. I might play it again more passively and focus on listening!

@EveningWayward : It definitely lack some complexity (i stopped working to get drunk when french elections results arrived) but my main goal was to make people listen to Victor Hugo's text and appreciate the musicality in it. I took the voice sample from a french actor reading it then i lowered it's pitch and add some reverb. The sliders don't combine but the sounds can combine with the words.

@Flo M : I think you're pro gamer !

Wow - that was a beautiful and surreal experience! I chose to play it as the cover picture looked very different and moody - and I loved the experience. Not sure I would call it a game - but I like your imagination that you came up with this. Happy that I tried it :-)

Ha, very interesting! Well, you fulfilled your vain goal to get me to listen to Hugo's speech.

**Edit:** The site hiccuped and caused a double-post. Sorry :(

It excites me every time to find something different in the scope of Ludum dare.

Heureusement qu'il a fait beau pendant ces elections mais je t'invite à noter mon jeu aussi (locker-c18)

I liked the sentiment and it's very different and experimental but it's also barely interactive. The sliders don't have an immediate effect and I felt more like watching a cool video than playing a game.

I couldn't manage to move the sliders in any way :( I appreciate the theme you chose. The speech is a bit long if you listen to it without any visual. I'll substitute the sliders with some animations matching the speech content. Maybe with something that the player has to do in order to make the speech go on.

Dang it - looks really intriguing, but I'm on mac... any chance of a port?!

My brain was blown! The best author's work from all that I've seen on this LD and in general.

Whoah... Ok, this was actually really awesome. Great mood, great job with the tuning of the atmosphere to slider. For a while I wasn't sure if I was having any effect, or if it was just amazingly timed. Not sure if I'd consider it a "Game", more an experience... but it was a good experience. Thanks for making it!

This was fantastic. Drastically different than anything else I've seen this jam (or anywhere else, for that matter). I really liked how engaging this experience was, even though the player controls were minimal. Everything felt so much larger than life with the way you presented everything. Great work.
