A brilliant fusion between gameplay and narrative. I rated this very highly.

Really innovative gameplay. I was a bit frustrated that I could not turn and thrust at the same time, which made it unnecessarily hard to pilot the ship. Otherwise, a really great entry!

Good job devs...the mechanic and story and graphics are very cool

Nice concept and execution!

I get a 404 error when trying to use the Comm.

firellon 2016-12-14 16:08

DrSnuggles, 404 is just a joke :)
Actually, 404 error means you can't connect to any world at the moment because you are too far away.
Press "E" to exit Comm in that case

Graphics and mechanics are nice! Great entry!

Excellent game, has a degree of complexity that i love though the controls of the ship are somewhat clunky? but im being too strict maybe so the art is awesome and the dual mechanics had me going so a really impressive game.

Initially, our interest was quite captured by this game. However, we didn't seem to be able to communicate with any other ships and the game rapidly devolved into dodging asteroids thereafter.
We loved the concept, however, we just seemed unable to find the actual content of the game.

Also, we encountered a freeze when an asteroid hit an NPC ship. Sorry we can't be more specific about the circumstances. Hope that helps!

firellon 2016-12-14 17:10

Skruffye, thanks for your feedback.
Actually, you can communicate with planets, and Comm panel is blue when you are nearby. The target of the game is to find all the Beacons left by an ancient race
P.S. Freeze when NPC ship is destroyed by asteroid... thank you, we'll fix it as soon as we can. Happily that is quite a rare occasion, so it should not ruin your game.

Pretty amazing use of theme, I like it! Graphics are very nice too.

Great game. Nice blending between narrative and gameplay, and good-looking graphics. However, I find it easy to get stuck. The first time I played I'm not sure if it was bugged because I wandered without finding anything for several minutes. In another playthrough I bought information about the second beacon and got its coordinates, but didn't know how to use them to find it.

It's really cool that different factions have different ships and that you can kind of piss them off as a faction if you attack them. Overall, it's impressive that you managed to do this in 72 hours. How many are in your team?

firellon 2016-12-14 17:52

jramell, wow! Thanks for feedback!
OWGames are 2-man band, we're working pretty hard :)
Honestly, we wish we had 1 day more to get this more polished, balanced and completable. There are 5 beacons, they are pretty hard to find without data about them.
After you've bought the info about beacon, you should see the special marker around your ship pointing at the beacon.
Thank you, we are really happy to know that you like our game

Great Game! Love the idea. Had lots of fun.

I enjoyed it, lots of work put into it. Though the controls were awkward for me as I keep mixing up between E and space.

simonhutchinson 2016-12-16 01:58

Really cool integration of the theme.

Love the concept and execution :)
I think some enemy hit indication would be nice.
Had fun playing this

Really nice entry overall, everythings seems well put together and even if gameplay is minalistic, the game is quite ambitious and the narration aspect is well designed and intriguing. Aesthetics creates a good mood.

Interesting game - much better space sim than No Man's Sky. I really liked the graphics. I did find the controls difficult and on two times, for some reason, the window defocus meaning I couldn't control it and I had to restart the game. However I thought that the game looked, sounded nice. It also had an engaging story. Well done.

Interesting use of the theme and a surprising amount of content for the time allotted, awesome work!

The game seems to just freeze up upon death, which is a bit of a shame. I don't really like how you can still get attacked when viewing the story or the comms. I am loving the narrative of the story, though. And the art, oh the mood too. Great choice of music and sounds. I love the contrast between the foreground interior of the ship and the outside.
