I took great fun scaring the blue people out of the map eheheh :)
Nice take on the theme. Liked the screaming.
Well done!
oh the game started when I got outside of the room :-) I expected that it would be game over by that point. Biggest problem was "space" key scrolled the browser window, but that's clearly chrome's problem. and game cannot do much about it. But the gfx and sounds are very nice and there were many different actions you can do in the game.
The introduction screen is a cool idea, but I did not really get the point of going outside...
it's scary hahaha cool entry!
I feel like this was trying to make a point about agoraphobia or something. Or maybe social anxiety? Anyway, simple game that works well. I tried to create my own little island by breaking all the blocks around the outside of the world. Didn't work too well...
interesting idea! I like hoe you have to limit your screaming so you dont fall. also just being able to fall into the void is pretty morbid haha.
nice job!
10/10 screaming
I didn't get it haha
But I played it for a while and I think I have a good score :DDD
Everyone can walk in the air but I can not.
I like the art style, is great!
I can't get why your world would tear apart when you get near another blue gut :c
Btw Well done!
The graphics were nice but I didn't quite get the aim of the game. If it's being alone for as long as possible you just go to the edge of the map and be undisturbed for a pretty long time
Hehe, nice! I liked the animations of the map breaking! I think It would be cool to have the map break too when you are not next to other blue things! Good job!
Took me a few minutes to understand what was going on. Interesting way of tackling the theme, by first defying it, and then the protagonist not being happy about it. ;)
I didn't really enjoy the main mechanic of having to be alone for as long as possible. It rewards passively standing somewhere quiet, which means I am just sitting there staring without actually playing anything. Points for innovation, but not for active enjoyment. (My first idea to make it more active would be to replace the screaming with farting, and have fast food spawn in the map so you can build up gas to scare people away. But that's just me. :D)
The art is cute, but the bright green everywhere is a little overwhelming. Colour scheme could use some TLC.
Good use of audio cues, lots of ambience even if some felt a little out of place (laughing children, for example).
While simple, this game is interesting a rather unique among the other games I've played in that inaction is often better than action when possible. It's also very peaceful to stay and stand in one place when you can (the sound design is fantastic!). As a mild introvert, I can understand the overwhelming feeling of the presence of other people, so this speaks to me, especially after playing it right after Christmas. Good job!
Also, my best alone time is 101.2 seconds, mostly hiding in the corners.
