Yep, having spent nearly a decade of my life there, this is basically a distillation of modern Britain.
IMO not really a super fun mechanic, but the setting and letters where hilarious :D

Neat idea, it's not often you see a game about small-talk. Are the conversation topics completely random? I'd like to see a system to them to add an extra layer of strategy.
I liked the idea, and it was fun to read all the letters.

Me and a friend were joking about this same idea because he had to go to work soon after the conversation. this is a cool execution with the letters, nice work.
Great concept. I enjoyed the game. I don't know if the answer where completelly random, it will add some complexity and fun if you could predict the answer somehow and plan ahead. Really great work, congrats.
The mechanic is a bit confusing, it's not clear which you should pick when you don't have the customers option.
It's pretty nice overall. There's a nice balance of "Oh, quick, time to think!" and "Alright, time to calm down and read a letter". The graphics, although not amazing, all fit together and that's pretty important. This was a nice game that fit the theme nicely, good work :)

The theme and writing are great. It starts subtle enough, for me at least.
The conversation mechanic isn't very interesting due to the excessive randomness. A system where my choice of topic guided their choice in some way could work. Learning about the world through the conversations would be more compelling than just reading the messages as well.
