Unsure why windows32bit is 4MB while the windows64bit is a whooping 65MB.
I couldn't build a snow fort nor make snowballs? I just went round and round and clicking on stuff didn't do anything. The only button that seemed to trigger anything was space which spawned enemies, which in turn, didn't do anything except walking towards me.
I don't know if the build is a bit buggy or if I just did something wrong... (Played win32)

According to itch.io it's been uploaded at 9am pst on monday. For the compo that's 18 hours too late isn't it?
Couldn't play it as it claims I need a different JRE however I am not installing a new one just for this game, sorry. Maybe later down the week but not now
And Mieeh in the 64bit version the sourcecode is included. Maybe thats the difference to the 32bit version
I recompiled the windows32+64 bit because of the problems Mieeh stated in the comment above this morning (9am), didn't add stuff to the file but I guess there's no way for anyone to know if I did. If that breaks the rules then I guess this is for the Jam instead.
Also didnt put in source code until now... yup it's a Jam.
This is pretty good for your first attempt. I like the idea of building a snow fort to defend against oncoming enemies. At first I tried playing without doing much building and didn't have a lot of fun. Then I played it again while trying to make a snow fort and had a much better time. The controls could use some work though. Way too many different actions were bound onto the mouse. It was hard to aim since I had to be moving to shoot, and I kept on accidentally packing snow when in the heat of combat. Binding snow packing and moving to their own keys would make the game a lot easier to control. Just as a general tip, I'd recommend focusing on refining your core gameplay loop before adding extra features. Not being able to die was a bit of a bummer. I'd love to play a version of this with refined controls and a proper failure state. There's definitely a lot of potential to build on here. But, for your first entry, this is a pretty good step. Ludum Dare is a learning process, and you'll only get better from here.
Also, I think I fixed the compatibility issue that was preventing you from playing my game. The Jar file should work just fine, just double click on it like an exe. If it's still not working, please leave another comment on my game's page explaining so.

Failed to run on Win7/64-bit. Error message: "this application requires a Java Runtime environment 1.8.0_74." Program then linked me to a Java installer which failed to install anything.
This would be a nice game if it would really be finished, I like the idea of the fort building :D

Quite hard to figure out the controls
The rapid snowball spawning was a blast and a half. I didn't really get the hang of actually killing enemies, so I made my own meta-game of trapping them with big snowballs. The game feels pretty unfinished, but I can see what you were going for. Aside from the controls being a little cumbersome (putting a little less controls entirely on the mouse by using a few different buttons could probably help) your system is pretty solid. I bet this could be a great defense game.
Best game I have played on this LD37. Great idea. You have to make some cool audio effects! And bg music. It can be cool game, think aboout porting it to android later!
I already ported it to android arputikos! (A crappy port), but I would only publish a more beta to finished version. I will work on this more once my other games are finished, definitely.

Not bad, could be a bit more interesting with a bit more time!
