It was a great game. The art is nice, the sound effect is funny. I like it. I have spent almost 2 hours playing this game.

Spoiler alert!!!
You will need pillow, hammer, and pot.

Thank you. :)

Hi Jakatpemadi, Thanks for playing! =) We'll give the anti-spoiler that the items you need to win is randomly generated! =D

Hi, nice game and congratulations ! Simple mechanics that still offered a decent amount of challenge. We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #36. We made the same thing at the previous jam.

Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description.

Wow this is really cool. At first I picked up pen and paper to jot down the translations before I realized the game did it for me. Didn't finish but spent quite a lot of time playing(or probing).

No one wanted my wood. What's wrong with my wood? :(

Was cool, but I played for a while and didnt get a sense of what the purpose was. There didn't seem to be a way to use any of the items, so why did I need them or to understand the people?

Oh I see based on the intro and the text description that the point was to get away since you crash landed. I had forgotten. My bad.

I played for about 10-15 minutes, I enjoyed, was really curious about the end game but eventually grew tired of trading and probing wasn't doing anything so abandoned. gg though. Wish inventory slots was a little more visible.

This game seems really well made for 3 days, I believe you wan t an interesting story to be told, the trading mechanic was interesting reminiscent of Catan board game , really enjoyed it.

Plug Plug: Check our game Dig Dig Revolution we want to hear your opinion too.

Liked the trading mechanic and how you could learn words, reminded me of No Man's Sky and how you have to learn words as you play to understand how to communicate and progress. Art also was nicely done, and liked the location images and different characters.

Graphics, art and animations are amazing. Liked the idea of learning words but learning the same ones (which you already knew) wasn't fun. Would like to see it on mobile and/or steam.

Wow, awesome game, played it for nearly a hour.

I really love the graphics, the "creatures" are awesomely drawn. The whole trading game idea is very well implemented, you get to learn the worth of the different resources.

The language system is also great. I love that the symbols actually look like what they represent (at least most of the time).

However, I wished there would be different ways to learn new words, I basically just probed everybody for half an hour, which was a bit boring. Perhaps you could introduce different ways to learn words that would be differently effective depending on the type of person (e.g. you can only probe warriors, but friendly natives would allows you to share a meal with them during which you can learn more but perhaps simpler words.)

I love the way you formulated the sentences, it's really difficult to determine if a sentence is positive or negative until the end.

"stranger, could __ __ a pickle." Hey no need to be rude, natives.

I'm really impressed by this. Easy to understand, and I appreciated having the keyboard shortcuts to speed things along a little. I played a ton of it having fun learning the language and trying to work my way up to owning a goat. No dice, didn't manage to repair my ship at all, but had fun doing it.

Looks like you wrote this in plain JS too, which impresses me even more.

Interactive fiction! Glad to see more of that.

I like the idea and the world. The randomly generated natives are neat and the language system deserves special commendations, although it would be nice to learn a new word with every probe.

Unfortunately the interaction design is a bit simple and devolves into rote repetition quite soon. Likewise the prose is limited and even buggy in places ("You find nothing and nothing!"). The ending is also a letdown.

The only fix I can think of is churning out loads of content, which, of course, is an impossible task in the limited time-frame.

Any plans for a post-jam version? There's potential here.
