Very interesting concept. I enjoyed it, but found it fairly difficult.

jofra 2016-04-19 02:05

A little confusing at first but a fun mechanic nevertheless!

lanestp 2016-04-19 02:06

Nice idea. I would like to feel a little more in control of my attacks. Good match to the theme!

auroratide 2016-04-19 02:28

I love how the audio changes depending on which shape you are! Also a cool idea, and definitely challenging.

Difficult, but fun, I really like this mechanically and could see it being fleshed out more.

kleinzach 2016-04-19 03:19

Great concept once I got a hang of it. I really liked the small touch of changing the sound wave of the music when you changed shape.

fin_nolimit 2016-04-19 06:14

Cool concept! At first I thought it was too easy because it ended in about a minute with Shape takeover... then i realized that was not what I wanted! lol.. Nice job

edocreate 2016-04-19 06:54

Curious...

quantum-cupcake 2016-04-19 15:53

Nice concept. I really liked the game. Congratulations :D

I adore the concept, and with more polish and more interesting, possibly darker context, this could be a great game.

Personally, I envision a magical Assassin with his own agenda to keep the war going until everybody is dead. So he shapeshifts, changing "sides" constantly, then backstabbing those who thought he was a comrade.

All while ensuring that there is no clear victor but him.

Fun game - interesting concept :)

It seemed like the game liked to spawn more of the dominant shape than the others, but it might just have been something that randomly happened me.

My best score was 47, which I suppose isn't much compared to the 266 in the screenshot :P

teamross 2016-04-20 00:27

I find it hard! Cool!

smilingcat 2016-04-20 00:56

Nice balance of power concept, a lot of fun.

I think I stumbled across a bit of an exploit, not too bad but it does kick down the difficulty quite a bit. Seems an easy way to play for a long time is to eliminate all of one shape, become that eliminated shape, and then you can just maintain the balance between the two remaining shapes without ever having to changing form again.

I'd recommend not allowing the player to become/remain in the form of an eliminated shape.

I found it difficult but I loved how the music changes to the shape you are.

Hi, nice game ! We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #35.
Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description

vururia 2016-04-22 00:21

Kind of difficult but fun, great entry.

rayman1900 2016-04-22 16:44

First of all, I'm really impressed by your game ! It's really fun once you understand what you need to do and keep a balance, but I think the shape overtaking is wayyy too fast. It's like if I'm trying to get in control on one side of the screen, but that on the other, the domining shape multiply more rapidly than what I can control.

Pretty cool concept! Love how you shifted the audio!

aflatminerstudios 2016-04-23 16:38

Super cool idea. Quite fun and challenging. I see what you did there with the music waveforms. *thumbs-up*

lochmann-apps 2016-04-24 12:40

Nice concept, solid controlls. Good Job! Have a look at my entry too please :)

joemid 2016-04-25 00:00

Yes to the shifting audio- ! On the audio alone- many entries miss some opportunities to do that- but so far your idea is the most perfectly tied to theme! Equalize!

Nice and funny game, had a score of 37, and found it difficult to prevent them to take over, as they always spawned on the other side of the map, which took me to long to go over there, before they take over
