Cool idea and game. The mechanics works quite well. I love the chewing sound :)

Graphics were nice, but I couldnt tell if the light had any mechanic other than the visual, ie does turning it on attract red things? Nice mood (lighting) :D
Yea it does, the idea was that swimmers will see you and will swim faster away from your and on the other hand light will attract the red things. Also you get more points for eating swimmers in the dark cos you are more scary.
Cool idea overall, maybe you should get more time to work on it and publish it.
Nice! I m french and I use azerty keyboard so it's difficult to play your game but i like it though. I like your colors, music and sounds.
and thanks a lot for you comment in my game page! (Ladybirds m.)
Didn't think about that, thanks for feedback, this is my first LD game, next time I'll make better controls (arrows and so on).
Great concept.
Also, you missed a pun about anemones being your enemies.
Solid entry! :) Good job.
Good job
The game bugged in the "Game Over", I continued playing with the message in the screen, but in the second "game over" it died
it seems like you're brute-forcing the movement and not letting the physics do the job. therefore it's quite annoying to control. But, you've made a game. a quite good game.
It's on purpose, it supposed to be like swim tempos of that fish
I found a bug: When I lose and restart on the web version, the WASD controls stop working so I have to refresh the page.
I did not feel very powerful or scary as the fish monster, because there were so many red things chasing me. It was almost like I was hiding in the dark from THEM instead of chasing swimmers. :P
My high score was 2625. An underwater monster in the dark is an unusual take on the theme. I liked that the fish and swimmers were animated.
Also, congratulations on your first Ludum Dare entry!
Nice work! I love it. I would like to see more improvements!
Neat concept. Seemed like keeping the light on had no negative effect on the game play. Liked the sounds.
Very nice project guys, i really love it, please check our game too and if you liked it give us a vote. Look for Road to hell and enjoy.
Your game has been rated by our team member Antonin Charvat (music composer). Here is his comment: Nice little game, great job! It's pretty challenging and that's exactly what I expect of a game :)
Interesting concept. I actually like the use of the light in this game.
