I found the controls annoying. Had to lift my mouse and scroll all over the desk 3 times to turn around. Graphics was OK, kind of reminded me of Alone in the Dark. Good effort.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD32 → Eustus: On the Squid Farm

Good entry, a little macabre for me and in the outside of the house was very dark, I don't know with this was intended, but it stopped me from keep playing, but very nice.
Beautiful graphics!
nice graphics
controls are hard to handle, collisions were also rough
I loved the art style and the textures. Was really nice having a day and night cycle as well.
I found the world quite barren and even when running I found very little to interact with. Maybe it was just me though.
I would love to see more things done in this style.
The art style reminded me off nightmare before christmas ;D
This was like...whaaat? But it had a Burton-esque charm
For reason, I keep on reading the title as Estus. Too much Dark Souls lately I guess.
Anyways, got it to with Wine on Ubuntu. Unfortunately, the mouse doesn't get locked to the game screen region in windowed or fullscreen mode, which makes the game pretty difficult to control. Movement in general feels kinda clunky.
Graphics and concept are kinda of nice, I guess.
Really trippy game. I like it!
this game is has some pretty cool atmosphere for a LD. very unique
Shouldn't this be categorized as a "jam" since you had Tim Burton helping you out? jkjk
I spent way more time playing this than the other LD games so far. Quite fun! The controls could have been a bit smoother (e.g. the mouse click kept taking me out of game when it wandered to my other monitor) and such. But I thought the art was really nice--it embraced what it was and in doing so really contributed to the game's mood/atmosphere.
Nice models, looked really good!
Well done!, the controls where a little tough (played the web version) but overall nice concept. Had a lot of fun playing it.
I like the interesting look of the game, and the walk animation is pretty humorous. The controls don't really work in the web player since the mouse is nowhere near sensitive enough.
The world is so barren. I walked outside and then walked around for quite a while but I didn't find anything. Eventually I came back to the house and found a bunch of stuff behind it. I think the game could be a little more focused.
Thanks for a truly surreal experience! Your painted textures are really unique.
I was pretty confused, but this shows potential. I liked the tim burton art style. it could use some faster pacing.
You know, the game is pretty cool:)
Heya! Mascarpone developer here! :D cool game again! =)
... goood .... very good
Some of the graphical ideas seemed nice. a bit dark/tim burton-ish. But the game wasnt really playable due to the rough controls.
It is a great and very ambitious idea for a Jam and seems a lot of work behind this project, congratulations. I like the Tim Burton style but I didn't find it very fun, maybe because is very hard to play on web version and I didn't understand what I had to do at the beginning of the game (then I read the instructions) Maybe to improve the fun you need more game balancing but it is a great project for a Jam.
A unique world with many interesting features. Gameplay is not smooth, but the game is worth playing for the graphics and music alone.
A spider insisted on me riding on his back and the only times I was able to get off his back were the times he was preparing for a hit. He did finish me off in that occasion.
