I love this kind of games. At first I was wondering what i the point of controlling the both sides.
But finally I destroyed the castle on the right. :)

I like the graphics

The right side was winning so I stopped building my army, even so the single archer destroyed the whole left army.
I liked the idea though, making the battle last and not ending it.

I liked the idea of controlling both sides. Makes it different from your traditional tower defence. :P

Perhaps having a few powers to spend gold on would have been nice. It's difficult to spend enough gold to prolong prevent both sides accumulating a bunch. So far I've lasted 163 seconds ^_^

You are your own worst enemy I guess. Neat concept!

Neat game! I really loved the idea of promoting balance, rather than unilateral conquest. This is really cool! It took me too long to figure out that clicking the buttons on the bottom turns on and off production (rather than that I needed to click them a lot--oh well, my error), and I agree with some of the other posters that gold probably went up a bit too fast. It seems like maybe needing to balance things so two wizards come out at the same time would have worked better?

Still, I honestly enjoyed myself and played through a few times, trying to beat my previous score. Thank you for the game!

Cool game!

This could give birth to an interesting game, but I didn't find it engaging. Not sure what I would change in this game, but it needs something else.

Very interesting concept. I lasted longer by not summoning any units and wait for the wizards to appear at the same time, destroying both castles at the same time.

Nevertheless, it's a nice take on the theme. Good job!

Needs some balancing, I agree with everyone else. I didn't understand what toggling on/off any of the buttons did, nor what I needed to use Repair for. So much hand drawn art! Nice entry :)

This is fun. i don't know why, because it seems like an exercise in futility, but the death sounds, money ka-chings/clinks, and other sfx are very satisfying. I also had to play until I saw a wizard battle.

I like the graphical style) very nice
I guess you desired this game to be played with two players, right?)
Somehow guy on the right are stronger

tanner101010 2014-12-13 01:16

Confession: I was playing both sides by myself and having fun with it :)

I wish it didnt default to auto casting the choices, but you had to click it each time.

Nice job!

tater_hater 2014-12-13 03:08

That was a pretty cool take on that type of game

ceosol 2014-12-13 03:18

I was thinking of a similar idea for if the theme was going to be "play both sides". I really like the concept... however the game seems fixed since there is no real way to spend down money. I tried having one side stop to force the other side into expensive repairs for a bit, but then the 3 archers attacking became invincible and I could not recover. Good job, though :)

cliffracerx 2014-12-13 21:26

Fun, and interesting use of the theme. I lasted a "grand" total of 85 seconds.

Graphics could use a little work, but the game is fun overall!

deyteris_team 2014-12-16 14:18

nice graphics. I had a fun playing game!

arcturusdeluxe 2014-12-16 20:05

Neat idea, I like your incorporation of the other theme while keeping with the single screen idea. While interesting the game devolves into a mindless clickfest rather quickly - I fear this may be a fundamental problem with the concept rather than a bad implementation. Maybe there's a way to make it more compelling? It's cool anyway.

It's like playing tug of war with yourself! I like the tricky balance of making sure one side doesn't overtake the other too quickly. Cute graphics too! Well done!
