Very nice game, I could never seem to get past year one without being even more in debt, or that's what it seemed like atleast, other than that very good!

Does not work on my machine. Windows 7 64 bit.
I really enjoyed this one. Though it's kind of frustrating not knowing exactly what the buildings do at first, it's fun deciphering it via trial and error. The music is super relaxing too, and it looks nice. Excellent.
Oh, also, minor nitpicks in that you can't see what the occupancy status of a house is and once you have a winning set up you still have to wait a long time to win (assuming winning is even set up, I'm not going to wait it out). Also apparently my buildings get randomly destroyed with no explanation sometimes.
Status of house: There's a little sign on the bottom left of empty houses and apartments.
Long time: Yes indeed. Not much I could do there.
Random destruction: Earthquakes. They get more common if you don't build for five years.
:P
At first I had some trouble finding the menu. the graphics are fine and somehow their actually is a certain mood to the game (mainly through the music i guess). I actually spent much time waiting for my balance to recover from the montly debt hit :)
the kitten counter is awesome ;)
Having the debt hit at the end of the year makes that first year a mad dash to build things. You need to build enough so that you can build things in the last month of the next year. You do this for 10 years or so until you have filled the map densely. The rest of the game is spent demolishing a flower, then rebuilding it to prevent earthquakes. :) After 32 years I have $106k and $145k debt. So I figure I have beaten the game by this point.
My town is now "booming" :)
It would have been nice if once I had more money than I owed I could pay the whole thing off. I had 172000/171000 by year 31 and I wasn't going to wait the extra 69 years to see the ending XD
I couldn't sit there and wait it out. Not being able to build unless you're in the positive really ruins it, I think. If you don't do things right from the beginning you have practically zero chance to correct yourself, and that isn't good with a game that expects you to stick around for "100 years." I would add some kind of credit system that allows you to spend, but perhaps charges you more interest the longer you go without paying. That way you can at least get yourself out of trouble and making money by building. Other than that, I loved the music and the interface wasn't too bad once I figured it out. I would also move the "clock" the main screen to give the player more of a feeling that time is moving along.
cool music and amusing story. the gameplay lacks feedback.
I don't generally like these kinds of games, but for some reason I was compelled to make one hell of a town, and did so. I got it all stable and stuff, and waited until 50 years (ran in the background while did other things), but couldn't wait longer. A +1 year button would have been a nice edition. Nice entry
This is very well made, looks good and the audio is fantastic. The game mechanics are solid - it took me a few attempts to get the hang of this, however, once I did there wasn't much to do after building up my town other than waiting for the debt to be paid off. Overall, a good, polished entry.
Yeah, too slow unfortunately.
really nice music!
Fun game!, I couldn't complete it though. I ran out of money and couldn't build anything, and I started losing money so I quit the game. But really really well done
Dropbox seems not responding on download button.
amazing game! very fun! I'm just a horrible manager! heheheheh xD
I had thought I messed up on my first town (because I found myself in a lot of unexpected debt from something..), so I wanted to exit to the main menu and start over. When I pressed Esc, it quit the whole game, which disrupted the mood created by the music and makes me have to reload the whole thing again.
