<3 the intro noise and initial text. The lighting also really adds to the difficulty and mood. I tried to play all the way through, but gave up after 3 tries just after the destruction scroll.
I can see how the difficulty might seem reasonable if you already know where the monsters are going to spawn, but if you are ever surprised by a monster its very difficult to avoid getting hit. I think you'd have to gimp the monsters or allow mouse-firing to make the game more fun.
Thanks for the response,
yeah, I had a feeling other people might find the monsters difficult, but with the little time I had left after finishing it there really wasn't much time to test. Another thing I wish I had time to fix was the bad zombie AI pathing xD

I played until the ghosts after opening the iron doors in the first level. The mood was nice, but the inventory was a bit awkward.(having to press a number to choose an item.) Perhaps it would help if things like the candle and keys didn't need to be active to use them.
You can also use the mouse wheel to scroll through the hotbar.
Creepy and fun. The only bad thing were monsters, i died twice in the first level trying to avoid and kill them.
The collision physics are really annoying, and movement is really slow considering the size of the levels. The lighting effect was well done, though.

The controls are a little to slow to move in such a big place, good job with the lights. I mush agree with the others, monsters are really difficult to avoid/kill.
Agreed, very good job on the lighting. I would have liked mouse aiming so you could fire while running away, otherwise it's pretty hard to avoid getting hit by the monsters. But, good job!
Agreed on monsters.
I think the lighting is a bit too absent.
Although the effect is nice.

Nice game. Pretty hard like others mentioned but good overall feeling. Got stuck in walls a lot though.

The lighting is nice, but the game is extremely unfair. Even after you get the fireball spell, fighting is difficult as you need to run towards the enemy to kill them. Mouse-aimed attacks would have been better.
Speaking of which, the requirement to use both mouse and keyboard for no good reason is... strange.
