I gave up, then came back, beating it on the next try. Bravo!

It took a minute for me to realize you had to walk with the arrow keys. I didn't get far because the quick time event was too difficult. :(

Nice mood, but same here, didn't know you could move with the arrows. I couldn't click there now, too fast.

Quick time was hard to catch (actually I gave up) I might come back. Apart from that, looks very interesting environment.

The solution is waaaaay out of where I would even begin to normally think... but somehow I actually got it. Totally confused about the ending, though. Nice concept!

Amazingly, I just "knew" the last syllable. Once I looked at the ones I already had in hand, it just felt obvious. I think the time-challenge felt a little to "beat the user over the head," though. A more subtle cue would have gone a long way.

Thanks for suggesting me the game. It was really interesting, and I think you managed to achieve the mood you were aiming for.

I thought the puzzles were a bit on the easy side. I really didn't like the "hint" -- as far as I can tell, there is no way to figure it out from information inside the game alone. The "check the periodic table" tip should probably be IN the game somewhere.

I really liked the sound effects. I think you could have made a few more graphics so that the "hotspots" in the room change after you interact successfully with them.

Nice the game, and see you next LD! :-)

As a 48-hour effort at an escape-the-room game I think this is pretty good. It's not a genre I care for much, and the gameplay and story didn't do a whole lot for me, but I thought the periodic table puzzle was well thought out. An in-game hint (or hint button) might have worked better rather than spoiling it in the game description, though.

I like the overall atmosphere of the game - the sound fits well, and I like the way you created the graphics and kept it compo legit. :)

Thanks for all your feedback! Using your comments as a guide, I'll try to make a new version extending this one. So if you liked this game, stay tuned!

Not my favourite genre, but I feel this is one of the better games in LD22. :)

Many games here feel like they end sooner than they should. But after playing your game for 10 minutes and finishing it, my experience as a player feels complete and satisfying.

The story does feel kind of vague and abstract. I wasn't sure where the story was heading, nor did I really understand the meaning of the things I was triggering, but I think that actually fit well with the atmosphere.

Criticisms: With these kind of escape games, there really needs to be a greater range of things to do. The four tasks at present is really a bare minimum. The missing clue would have been better placed in game. eg, a poster on the left wall by the stairs, which when clicked on shows the periodic table.

Nice game. It's a bit short, and there should have been more puzzles, though with the time limit that's understandable. I'm not sure exactly what the ending was supposed to mean, but it looked cool and felt interesting. The graphics are neat and I liked the song at the end.
