LOVE everything about this. Just letting you know though, if you max out one stat at the beginning of the game. You kill everything in one shot. You are the invincible evil overlord.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD21 → Demonout - the roguesque adventure

Some more humor (and story) could help, btw, nice game (add audio!!)
Great game! The particle effects and lighting are a nice touch. I assume it ends at floor 16? There's no more downward stairs.
It was supposed to get to floor 0, but I uploaded a wrong level data file without that missing stairs. Is that the kind of thing it is illegal to correct now?
Way too easy so I got bored pretty quickly by just walking and killing everything with few hits and constant Level Up messages. Otherwise nice, with some polish it could be quite nice game.
I have to agree with Shigor in that the game was way too easy. I became bored after the first few levels, but I continued because I was interested in what the ending might be.
Unfortunately, I discovered a bug on floors 16/17 where I could only cycle between the two floors.
My goodness you set yourself a mammoth challenge trying to do a complete dungeon crawler with so many elemtns within the 48 hours. You didn't quite succeed, but with a bit of polish this could be going somewhere.
Enjoyed it, because I'm a crawler-nerd... but definitely needs more work.
I think you bit more than you could chew. It's pretty long for an LD game, but it still feels like there was next to no content in a way. Not enough challenge, not enough variation between stats or enemies.
Very strong entry! I like the concept (I'm not sure if the arrows are supposed to be ineffective against almost all monsters? Maybe need to work a bit on the feedback - with audio that might be easier to convey) and I played quite a bit of this tower nightmare.
Good job.
As others have said, a little bit easy hence easy to get bored. But this provides a very strong base to build something really nice!
I'm a sucker for rouge-likes, but this lacked much of the fundamental mechanics - random level generation and proper skills/classes would have made this entry a whole lot better.
