I like how you approached the theme, but I couldn't seem to find any gameplay.
It was quite unsettling seeing his "mind" shrinking like that, even with these simple graphics. I wouldn't call it fun, though.
Interesting take on the theme.
I like the interpretation of the theme. Had trouble figuring out the gameplay though.
Well.. managed to get 4/13 tokens after a couple more play thrus. Seems that I can't quite figure out how to make the text stay long enough to read it once you've triggered a token. I want to be able to learn about the story so this seems like a little bug or maybe I'm just not getting how it works. It is strangely sad and compelling to play this game so congrats there. It isn't really fun at all but that is fine by me. I'm glad to see what you did with the theme. I also gave you a 1/5 on Food.. because your name is hamburger. :)
I didn't get it until I read your description. Before that I was just trying to slap the guy as hard as I could :).
Sadly fading.. Those words popped into my head when I played this. It's the name of a SID-tune, which is now playing in my head. Starts out with a long solo and then gets some really nice bass and melody just as it ends. Funny how the mind works.
Ahem. Anyway.
Feels more like interactive art than a game. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing.. I wouldn't call it fun though =]
I don't get it. It's confusing and disturbing.
Quite bleak. As mjau said, it's more art than game.
The best I could get was two tokens.
i like that this is about an internal wall of doom - cancer - rather than an external one. i think it might be presented in a way that keeps it from being as effective as it might be, though. if it played for longer, i think it would give players more time to get a sense of what was going on by flailing, and would be more suggestive of the slow creep of this particular kind of wall of doom.
Very interesting entry. Requires a bit too much reflexes, perhaps, the best I could get to was around 9 tokens.
Sorry, I didn't know what to do. Found max 3 tokens by clicking random parts. Couldn't find any difference between the two playing modes. :/
