Oct 20 21:33:16 Hold the Line ♥ 1 @marudziik I almost hearted your comment here as it made me LOL 😂(and is relatable 😝 ) I have to slap my wrist now to prevent doing that this jam. 🤣 About to play yours next! 🙌
Oct 21 00:32:17 2h 59m While the Lantern Burns ♥ 1 Wooooo! First game I played of the jam! 🙌 (Too bad it was when I was still working on mine, so I couldn't play it long. or take time to comment) 😬 😅 HUGE fan of your work!! Been following for a few jams now and I always look forward to seeing what you make! (Also been enjoying following your progress on Whisperlands! 🌳 I'm genuinely impressed by what you can create in 48 hrs. 👀 This entry is bonkers. It's so good. ❤️ 🔥 The sound and atmosphere is so crazy good. When I first played, I immediately died on the first monster because I didn't know how to shoot. After seeing that you needed to light the muzzle with your lantern, decided to give it another go... I still died. 💀 The respawn is BRUTAL. 😅 But it made it even more intense. (Even tho a checkpoint after the tutorial bit might be nice). The controls are very clunky, but seem deliberately so. Like it's a lot of steps and controls to remember. But makes it part of the charm I think? After a while, I was able to get the hang of it, and started remembering the steps and it made it feel more immersive tbh. It felt like using a really old gun and lantern. Granted... I would've died under that pressure if I didn't game it a little and retreat a bit to give more time between monsters. I was really scared here 😰 😂 2026-10-20_20-07-54.png Overall, this is a top entry for me!! Really really nice work! 🤘 2026-10-20_20-09-10.png
Oct 21 00:46:35 14m 18s Switchboard Operator ♥ 1 This is awesome!!! I love the art and feel!! Good thing I'm not an operator though... No one would get a call through! 😬 😝 I suck at this. Makes my brain hurt. LOL. 2026-10-20_20-40-03.png My only bit of feedback is I had a hard time telling the diff between B and E sometimes. My brain kept making it an E.. and I couldn't understand why I was failing so bad. The font is surprisingly readable for a pixel art font though! It's so well done. Great entry!!
Oct 21 12:48:16 12h 01m Check the Piss ♥ 0 The intro... 🤣 👌 Perfect entry for old tech... I love finding games like this. 😆 The text was a bit hard to read for me. The rotating of items was a little confusing at first. But once you taste the pee... none of that mattered.
Oct 21 16:10:28 3h 22m Press Any Key! ♥ 1 It felt like I was working in an office in 1999 again. 😄 So many great little details. 👌 Also.. saw in a previous comment, call it "Office Life Simulator" <- YES. I would play the hell out of that. 🙌 'Office Life Simulator: 99' I realize it is a jam, so only so much time for features... but I wanted a few more interactions and freedom. I almost quit before I got on the PC, (because I couldn't figure out how to do it at first). Turns out I wasn't standing in the right spot. But wow! That old school PC looks fantastic!! Inserting discs was a bit finicky, but I loved doing IT on old machines. I really wanted to interact with more of it, but maybe I didn't make it far enough. I think esp for a jam... (limited time playing each game)... it was a bit bogged down by the story and dialogue. I couldn't get into the meat of the game fast enough. So I may have missed a lot of content. The characters are so great though! I just wish I had a little more freedom and autonomy messing with stuff, and 'working' in the office, and less time talking to people. Awesome entry!
Oct 21 20:47:30 4h 37m KickBack ♥ 1 Old school aesthetics and vibes... super cool. The deaths on enemies is just so satisfying. At one point, I blasted one of the ground enemies super close last min.... and it looked killer. The way the blood pools on the ground is a nice detail. Love the feel of most weapons. (I forgot to use the kick because I read about it after. oops). The stair collision is jank af. 🤣 But at least I could feel safe up there a sec. The enemy sounds when you are up there is a little nuts. lol. This was a fun bit of chaos for a couple min. Should have been drinking a mountain dew while I played.
Oct 22 12:07:06 15h 19m A Tribute to Father ♥ 0 WOW. 😮 ❤️ 😢 This is one of my favs so far. And has me even more conflicted and confused on AI usage now. 😰 😅 Some that rely too heavily on it can start to feel empty or soulless. This one has so much heart. That tribute to your Dad at the start brought up similar nostalgia and memories... the boot up sounds and attention to detail is ASTOUNDING. This is one of my favs because of the immersion and emotional impact. I found myself playing tetris with tears in my eyes. (Side note): That may have been the hardest version of Tetris I have played. :P Without the modern 'ghost' placement of pieces to line things up, or holding a piece, and the straight bars were so rare... made it a lot harder. 😳 😂 But it was so much fun. I can't believe you have a full working version of Tetris on here. I wish I could have rated it on audio, because the sound of the fan, and attention to detail on the key presses and everything is just perfect. It warped me back in time. And I was smiling and getting choked up at the same time. Also... 3 games??? Geeeez. LOL. I kind of forgot about Xonix! That really warped me back in time. So cool. I can't believe all the buttons work too! 👀 I found myself having fun just messing with the computer after. That might be my only note... I was kind of wishing there was just a little of digging into the directories or something... and finding hidden files? Maybe a note from your Dad etc. But overall, I really really loved this. The immersion is top notch. I think your Dad is smiling and beaming from this one. ❤️ Fantastic job.
Oct 22 12:19:46 12m 40s GO AWAY ♥ 1 I played with DLSS5 on and it looked SICK!!! 😳 🙌 😆 This is the best game. 🤘 🔥 The animations of the tourists dropping is ridiculously good. The later waves get absolutely NUTS. I love the attention to detail when the island gets taken over too.
Oct 22 13:07:30 47m 44s Floppy Defrag ♥ 1 Nice!!! It's cool that it saves your current level too. But I got stuck on Level 4. 😑 😝 Love using the cmd prompt to navigate.
Oct 23 03:53:15 14h 45m Torch Keeper ♥ 1 I love the palette and aesthetics!! The art is so well done! The mechanic was pretty interesting... and I grasped it very quickly, but was insanely difficult to master. Which is a good thing, but also feels like trying to pat your head and rub your tummy. 😂 There were a few jumping spots where I put out my light so many times, I ended up rage quitting. 😅 This is a such a great entry though.
Oct 23 04:17:51 24m 36s Doodle Skate ♥ 1 Damn!!! Wtf. How did you make something like this so fast?? It's great fun. I loved experimenting with the diff colors at first. Didn't realize they had different properties, until I was drawing all my levels in blue wondering why nothing was working. 😬 😂 Also... the moment I realized I could draw... immediately covered the title screen in dicks and boobs. Oops. 🤣 🤦 Give the player a cookie... he will draw a dick.
Oct 23 04:40:15 22m 24s T.O.R.Q ♥ 1 The meter drains SO fast! 😳 😝 😰 I couldn't make it very far because I kept running out. EPIC as always!! 🤘 🔥 I thought for sure you'd use the gear to just shred other racers. 🤣
Oct 23 18:54:05 14h 13m Old Games ♥ 1 The look of that old computer is so cool! Love the chunky look to the PC and discs. Orbdrop was great fun! 🙌
Oct 23 21:50:55 2h 56m The Last Show ♥ 1 Wow!!! So many levels!! 😮 The puzzles ramped up at a nice pace too. They got pretty tricky in spots. Really cool concept. It took me a while to realize I could position the ladder or bridge while the lamp was actually on the stand. 😬 😂 I kept trying to line it up, then place it on the stand quick. Once that clicked, I started to get how to use the stand more easily. So many mechanics and levels. I dont know how you got it all in. Oh! I loved your camera shake. Something about your movement and jump felt so good. And the subtle camera shake on the land was nice. My brain kept getting a bit confused when switching between the elements later on. I started just using the number keys. But I kept clicking on the icons to switch as if they were buttons and kept messing myself up. 😅 Really nice job overall.
