| Apr 9 10:16:00 | Uncovering The Mysteries Of The Cursed Tomb | ♥ 1 | Very well-done exploration. The puzzles are properly simple. The use of backtracking and finding secrets are secretive. SHIFT REALLY HELPED A LOT! The last puzzle isn't the most obvious, but the atmosphere is thick. Hardcore mode is truly something beyond good and evil! | |
| Apr 9 11:23:08 | 1h 07m | Animalia Memories | ♥ 1 | The video is well-made! And the fox is stylish. But the gameplay is a bit boring. And the cat is WEARING BOOTS judging by the sounds |
| Apr 9 20:05:30 | 8h 42m | Song of the Depths feat. Shian | ♥ 1 | Excellent atmosphere and audiovisual design! Though I would have preferred slightly more comfortable controls. On the third level I rage-quit, hahah. Couldn't make it to the exit in time. And I had to reload the page to see the GIF and understand how the mechanics work. Nevertheless, the particle effects are very well done - I really like how you implemented the interaction of those fish-like circles! The camera work and level presentation are also top-notch! Even though the sample is simple, I never once thought it was annoying. The moment when the beats kicked in was simply amazing! Great work! |
| Apr 9 20:22:10 | 16m 40s | River Woods | ♥ 1 | The mechanics evoke emotions! But honestly, what I liked most was the combination of visual style and sounds/music, good thing I played with sound on. THANK YOU FOR NOT MAKING THE SHORES DANGEROUS* *Although maybe you did, I don't know, lol. It only took me 4 attempts to deal with the whirlpool. |
| Apr 9 20:32:26 | 10m 16s | The Depths of Planet Z73 | ♥ 0 | Good work. I like how you handled the rendering! Though the walking is a bit jelly-like and I would have preferred more interesting resource collection. But the colors turned out just right! |
| Apr 9 20:47:54 | 15m 28s | DEPTH OF FIELD | ♥ 1 | A very witty interpretation of the theme. Excellent and DEEP approach to implementing mechanics using a shader. I like the satisfaction that comes with the photography process. It would have been nice if something clicked when changing focus as well. But in any case, excellent work and an exemplary indie game! |
| Apr 10 06:21:56 | 9h 34m | Go with the Floe | ♥ 1 | Very cute implementation. The controls are excellent. Diving and sliding! It's a shame the feeding process wasn't voiced :D |
| Apr 10 06:30:50 | 8m 54s | Falling | ♥ 1 | Interesting implementation of falling! Great that you decided to make the player fall backwards. Deciding when to move and when to look - it's like an example from a game design book (in a good sense). However, I don't fully understand why I die - I was avoiding obstacles! It would be interesting to see how you would develop the gameplay. I immediately imagined something falling from top to bottom too. At first, I occasionally glanced there. Almost forgot - the wall friction is magnificent! |
| Apr 11 05:47:21 | 23h 16m | Deep Blast | ♥ 1 | Very pleasant effects and gameplay. In my opinion, this mechanic has a lot of potential! Downsides: the difficulty curve increases too sharply and there's no feedback for the player when losing. But that doesn't change the essence - excellent game design work. |
| Apr 12 19:07:33 | 37h 20m | Meanepth | ♥ 2 | Добавить в шепот несколько языков - очень интересное решение! Хорошая работа левелдизайнеров, уровни получились разнообразными. |
| Apr 12 19:23:21 | 15m 48s | The Cleaner of the depth | ♥ 4 | Великолепный стиль, анимации и звуковое сопровождение. То, как у вас получилось сконцентрироваться на отполированном и лаконичном раскрытии одной механики вызывает искреннее уважение! Отличная работа с акцентированием внимания игрока. |
| Apr 12 19:46:18 | 22m 57s | Cave Escape | ♥ 2 | At first I thought "Oh, did he seriously just take the Doodle Jump mechanic?" But after playing longer, I felt SOMETHING. There's definitely game design here! Good, responsive controls make you think that the previous fall was just a fluke and creates a desire to play again. The music is upbeat and doesn't get annoying (!) even though I heard the beginning of this track too many times... It works great for the atmosphere! IMO - I don't think any additional buttons besides the spacebar were needed here (I'm talking about R for reload). And I wish the breakable platforms gave something when destroyed. Right now they just provide a "coolness" factor when you manage to fly through them and land on a platform. But they could definitely be something that players might decide to risk going for. |
| Apr 12 20:01:58 | 15m 40s | Diggin' Deeper | ♥ 2 | The idea that we should use one tool or another seems interesting, but I can't shake the feeling that SOMETHING'S OFF when a pickaxe breaks from hitting sand, hahaha. The rhythmic sensation of the gnome's movement reminded me of Crypt of the NecroDancer, specifically how the mechanics work together with the music in that game. In my opinion, this could work well. For example, if the player's movement speed (forward dashes) was pre-adjusted to match rhythmic music. Then the player would be able to understand in advance which sequence of buttons they need to press. |
| Apr 12 20:32:21 | 30m 23s | The Void | ♥ 2 | I liked that the game decided to reveal the mystery of the Wilco family tragedy. A line of respected space explorers was interrupted, and all that was left for them was the inevitable fall to becoming a janitor... But seriously, it's great that you managed to create a real adventure in such a short time! Nice pixel art, good music. An atmosphere of cosmic solitude. I would have liked more puzzles on the second and third screens. But in any case, it was pleasant to play. I wonder, do you plan to develop this project further in any way? |
