I cried. The sound was coming from the one place my bullets had not penetrated... behind the old fridge. Peering into the dark corner, I finally got a closer look at them... they were just... lil fellas... lil pink fellas... what had I been doing?! and then something about their sound... their strange movements triggered a gut reaction... i dropped a grenade and stood back.. finally, it was over.
