| Oct 7 01:36:51 | Blobbies | ♥ 1 | This game is super cute! The concept and execution are super-well done. Did you make the music? It's so incredibly relaxing, I'd love to add it to my playlist! ❤️ | |
| Oct 18 23:15:41 | 285h 38m | Lil' Chimeras | ♥ 1 | This is a super cute concept! I enjoyed seeing the different chimaeras, and rerolling until I found the perfect non-mixed up ones. The gameplay has a lot that could have been expanded on, for example a simple drafting mechanic where you can choose some of your hand to discard every time it refreshes. Very nice! |
| Oct 18 23:20:18 | 4m 37s | Blob stomp | ♥ 2 | Ahaha, I love this! Such a funny little game. The writing is hilarious, and the sounds were great. I loved the ritual at the end. I wish I were able to fullscreen it on the web version, I had to just zoom in really far. Very cool! |
| Oct 22 19:55:50 | 92h 35m | Ant Ascent: journey to the top | ♥ 1 | This is really cool! The install process was kinda funky, and I definitely think you could benefit from packaging it as an exe in the future, but I really enjoyed playing! |
| Oct 22 20:13:03 | 17m 13s | Frog's Bedtime Story | ♥ 3 | WOWW!!! This art is absolutely GORGEOUS! I love the almost watercolor aesthetic with the pixel art, ya'll employed the palette so well like oh my god, goals. The parallax had so much depth, I loved it! This was the most 3D-like 2D game I've seen in a while. It's a shame you didn't get all the gameplay in, I'm not sure if I was missing something but I couldn't seem to progress past digging up the worm. But wow, this is a beautiful and charming start to a game and I hope you continue working on it! ❤️ |
| Oct 22 21:29:02 | 1h 15m | Inside Creatures Out: What is your gaming MBTI? | ♥ 3 | Wow! I'm generally not that much of a fan of survivors-type games, but this one was super inventive and unique!! The art was stylish, the music was great, and the whole experience was very polished and clean. The spin of theming it around a personality test was really cool as well. I didn't really expect it to actually give me a score at the end, so I was pleasantly surprised when it did, and ended up being really accurate! I was super impressed by how many different variations of each creature there were! I didn't really understand *why* they were changing and upgrading as I was playing, my best guess was that the creatures levelled up as you dealt damage with them, but after reading through the post and realizing that they scaled based on your answers, I gained even more respect for your entry. Amazing work all around, I think this project could go far!! gaming.png |
| Oct 25 05:36:29 | 56h 07m | Proto Deus | ♥ 3 | Wow! The theming of this game is on-point! I'm super impressed with the CRT terminal aesthetic and the pre-rendered(?) 3D graphics. Both super cool for a jam game. I found it a little hard to work around controlling the tank and the little droids, as it felt like getting enemy tanks within range to click on for the droids also made me vulnerable for attack. That said, it was a super cool and shockingly polished experience, especially with all the worldbuilding, that's super cool. Great entry! |
| Oct 25 05:46:23 | 9m 54s | Small Problems To Grapple With | ♥ 2 | Oh my god I love the art style here! The sticker & paper aesthetic is so unique and cool, I can tell a ton of work was put into it. It reminds me of Little Big Planet, I'm getting nostalgia for a game I've never ever played. The mechanics are simple and fun, although I think it's held back by the camera a little. Typically in platformer-esque games, the camera follows ahead of the player rather than behind them to let you see what's coming up. I found myself limited a bunch by simply not being able to see what was ahead of me while I was flinging myself. I also found that the bugs kept stunlocking me, and I wasn't sure if I was able to kill them or not. That said, I had a good 5 minutes playing around with it, I got around 50 points. I was charmed by the screen-space paper effect on the frog, and the music was excellent. Great entry all! |
| Oct 25 06:01:42 | 15m 19s | Among The Deep | ♥ 2 | The voice acting blew me away! At first I was surprised that there were voiced dialogue lines in a sort of retro-art direction game, but the earnestness of it paired with the beautiful music sucked me right in. Definitely a little light on gameplay, but I played through the whole experience to see where it would go. Poor research partner, maybe she shouldn't have been so trigger happy with lasering all the creatures :) Absolutely fantastic presentation, this is super super cool. I could see this expanding into a full atmospheric / horror experience if you wanted to take it further. Great job! |
| Oct 25 06:10:17 | 8m 35s | SNANT | ♥ 2 | Cute and fun! The mechanics of having to collect and return ants to the anthill were really interesting! It took me a bit to get used to the fact that the ant and I can wrap around the board. I enjoyed the music as well! Great job! |
| Oct 25 06:19:05 | 8m 48s | Snail Trivia Race | ♥ 1 | Cute little game! I liked how the snails all had different shell textures. Some of the questions I found a bit too America-specific, or maybe I'm just kinda dumb. Game worked perfectly though, I played it twice to make sure I won. Nice job! |
| Oct 25 06:29:14 | 10m 09s | Little Chef | ♥ 3 | This is a super cute little game! I know rebinding controls is a bit out of scope for most jam games, but I will note that I found it really hard to control on my split keyboard, but I really enjoyed the concept! I thought it was funny that you could just give someone an empty plate of food and go to the next person. I also struggled a bit to find the right ingredients at times. That said, the presentation and music are great, and the core mechanics have a lot of potential. Very cool!! |
| Oct 25 07:10:00 | 40m 46s | Lucky Lefty Loves Lofty Little Lodges | ♥ 2 | This is cool! Physics puzzles in Jam games are very rare, so it was a nice sight to see. I really liked the music, and the snail was cute as well. Would have been nice to have some sort of pressure in the gameplay loop, like losing if I don't meet a quota or something. Nice game! |
| Oct 25 07:48:25 | 38m 25s | Blob, To the Top! | ♥ 2 | Waow, this is so much fun!!! Such a great and polished game, I'm super super impressed! I got through most of the levels and then messed around with spawning in a bunch more blobs with I. The graphics, music, and gameplay were super polished. Great job! |
| Oct 25 07:58:05 | 9m 40s | Zombies Ate My Fruits | ♥ 2 | This is a cute little game! It feels very PICO-8, very retro. I enjoyed trying to figure out how to get through the game using the fruits, and I managed to get to the end. Nice job! |
| Oct 25 08:02:32 | 4m 27s | Tiny World Mayhem | ♥ 3 | Wow, the art is so polished, damn! The mechanics felt smooth and fun, I ended up playing a few times. Great job! |
| Oct 25 08:16:58 | 14m 26s | Miku's Minion Madness | ♥ 2 | This is a cool game! I liked the music, and the gameplay was fun. Played through a whole round. Great job! |
