| Oct 4 11:17:25 | Though I Walk | ♥ 0 | Awesome all around! Really creative, unique and immediately understandable core mechanic. I also love the visuals and the music in the beginning, super atmospheric! Unfortunately the music stopped at some point and it was a bit quiet for the rest of the game, but I think this is the only thing I can criticise :) | |
| Oct 4 11:32:04 | 14m 39s | MadCap (Alan the Archeologist) | ♥ 1 | Nice entry all around! I really liked the art style, the music and putting the statues together. The platforming feels a bit too fast and unforgiving though, you might want to try out some different speed / gravity values there for a smoother experience. I also would've liked to be able to enter levels multiple times for a more chill experience. And exiting the levels through the portal without any pieces collected should probably not be possible? Overall though, really enjoyable entry, good job! |
| Oct 4 11:44:17 | 12m 13s | how you use it | ♥ 1 | Pretty fun and funny game! I already laughed at the beginning, the story panels are a super nice touch! The gameplay is quite entertaining too, but I imagine it could be even better if there was just a bit more space to maneuver around (gotta adhere to the theme though!) Really enjoyed playing this one all the way to the end, good job! |
| Oct 6 07:18:11 | 43h 33m | Homeward | ♥ 1 | Always a pleasure to play your games and this one is no exception. Really nice visuals, storytelling and music that form an enjoyable and cohesive package overall. Some minor criticism: I saw very few typos and the limited space mechanic only mattered once for me. Still, it always felt like I should look out for my inventory space, which I guess is even better than being forced to leave something behind all the time! |
| Oct 6 07:36:20 | 18m 09s | S.P.A.C.E. Ltd. | ♥ 2 | Super solid foundation to potentially extend upon! The movement felt pretty smooth and I really liked the gameplay and visuals. After the second level I felt like there was nothing new coming anymore, so I let myself get killed. I could imagine this becoming a really cool game with some more content. Especially the upgrades are a bit lackluster at the moment, some improvements to player stats like speed and damage and giving more abilities to the drone would be great. Still, already enjoyed this quite a bit as it is, good job! |
| Oct 6 07:46:12 | 9m 52s | appendage bedlam | ♥ 5 | Solid foundation! I liked the visuals and the dark mood. I also couldn't exit the second room so that's when I stopped playing. Would've loved to see some attack feedback like damage particles on the enemies, and the sound for the attack was really loud. Thinking about it, you could actually do without any attack button, just have the weapon always be damaging and the challenge is to swing it in the right direction. |
| Oct 7 16:11:22 | 32h 25m | Untitled Goo Game | ♥ 1 | Nice and easy to grasp game, but surprisingly hard to actually win. I tried quite a few times and didn't manage to do so, but had a good time along the way, well done! Would be cool to have some more different ways to keep the goo in check. |
| Oct 8 16:09:18 | 23h 57m | Tethered | ♥ 2 | Pretty interesting core gameplay mechanic! Took me some time to get used to and it is a bit tedious, but I still enjoyed this quite unusual approach to movement as well as the dialogue and the whole spacey atmosphere of the game. Maybe if you managed to make the movement a bit more fluent or snappy, this could be something to explore further. Might be well suited as a coop game even? (without having to switch between the characters) |
| Oct 10 19:38:18 | 51h 29m | TEMPLE IS ACID (feat. Bees 🐝) | ♥ 2 | Really fun game with very nice visuals and audio! I enjoyed the non-standard controls and the attack-speed-powerup felt really good (together with the juicy camera movements) Made it to level 14 in the end. It sometimes felt impossible to dodge and I was almost always at minimum HB, quite the nail-biting and engaging experience overall! |
| Oct 10 20:02:24 | 24m 06s | Death Row | ♥ 1 | When going to bed I was always like: "Nothing to see here, just chillin' with my trusty spoon" :) Super atmospheric game with haunting visuals and audio, really enjoyed it! |
| Oct 16 16:36:55 | 140h 34m | KlutterKidz | ♥ 1 | I like the visuals and the unpredictability of the throw mechanic is quite fun. I think the game would've benefitted from having some kind of crosshair, as picking up items was a bit frustrating at times due to missing visual feedback of what can be picked at a given time (if anything at all) |
| Oct 16 16:48:42 | 11m 47s | Stone Heart | ♥ 1 | Really good game! I enjoyed the movement and the music the most, but it is a pretty complete package, great job! I would've expected to die when I got very tiny. It didn't happen, but something else did: Navigating actually became harder as I could barely see my current direction visually, which is a nice side-effect. Another option to make the risk-reward aspect of the game more interesting would be to increase damage taken when the ship gets smaller. That way, the player has to make a choice, which could be interesting. Just an idea :) |
| Oct 16 17:13:14 | 24m 32s | Agent Cat - Mewssion Fridge | ♥ 1 | Cute and fun game with nice visuals and wonderful audio! It was a bit buggy for me though, which could lead to some frustration: I sometimes didn't eat donuts but moved them through the level, the boxes sometimes didn't trigger and once I fell out of the level. |
