| May 1 03:40:04 | Data Heist | ♥ 1 | Definitely could've benefited from tighter scope: a little more focus on making the movement mechanics smooth and buttery. I feel the health system made both the player and the enemies a bit more of bullet sponges than particularly enjoyable. | |
| May 1 03:52:05 | 12m 01s | Special Delivery | ♥ 1 | This is probably one of my favorite games so far! I was mildly unenthusiastic when I saw the concept, because it felt fairly standard as to what one would expect from the theme of "delivery" - and that's true, the concept's nothing special. But the execution is great! The difficulty is exactly where it needs to be - I never got a game over, but I always felt a little bit of pressure that failure was imminent. When that pressure arrived, a wry player could spot the occasional shortcut - ways to hop over fences, cute detours, ramps - which are oftentimes just useful enough to be worth noticing. The music's good, the gameplay's good, you play as a disembodied, driverless motorcycle - great work, developer. |
| May 1 04:23:01 | 30m 56s | The Silver Fleet | ♥ 2 | I beat the game with a score of 28, but I still don't really know what I was doing or was supposed to be doing the entire time other than pressing space bar repeatedly. Still, very good music and very cute graphics. |
| May 1 04:42:28 | 19m 27s | Its All in the Delivery | ♥ 1 | Here we go, my first five star rating of the night! This is incredible. It's a unique twist on the theme 'delivery' that still very much fits. The art is buttery smooth, the voice font adds a lot to the atmosphere, the mechanics are functional and interesting - while also leading to funny results. I think I would've maybe liked a bit more of it - but that's just a sign that the game is good, you know? Anyway, great work - I'd be happy to see this win the compo. |
| May 1 06:30:12 | 1h 47m | Ray Ledger: Midnight Run | ♥ 1 | Kickin' soundtrack, interesting skate mechanics, cool atmosphere. With that said, the game would've benefited substantially from a little more explanation. I'm still not entirely sure how to avoid the enemies. |
| May 1 17:36:16 | 11h 06m | Le Laitier | ♥ 2 | A platformer that oozes atmosphere and mood. Some of the mechanics could use some polish, and otherwise are in need of far more explanation than they're given - but that's not why we're here. We're here for the good music, the cool art, and the very satisfying sound effect whenever you make it to the end. |
| May 1 17:58:45 | 22m 29s | Mystic Logistic | ♥ 1 | Nice work! I like the music and the art quite a bit. |
| May 2 01:28:40 | 7h 29m | Devil's Corp | ♥ 10 | The art's lovely, the animations are great, and the music is great - so it's not surprising to see that most of the team are artists and musicians. There are some mild issues with the game's design, though: the enemies are so pathetic that you can essentially run circles around the enemies ad infinitum, and you essentially game-over yourself if you run out of ammo. Overall, an impressive achievement for something done in a measly three days! |
| May 2 03:32:27 | 2h 03m | Neo City Express | ♥ 4 | It's sort of like that old Flash game Multitask, except instead of trying to balance a ball you're trying not to crash a janky car, and instead of having to watch out for squares you're flirting with cute girls on Tinder. 10/10 |
