Nice work! I like the music and the art quite a bit.
Its very cool! Had some minor collision errors where I got stuck in solid objects, but otherwise its a very enjoyable game! well done
Awesome work! loving the colour-scheme and sound
@phyrocast yeah that bug is quite annoying, and couldn't figure it out in the end! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I like the gameplay mechanic here a lot, well done! It's a bit janky and rough to play - the controls are slippery and the platform placement mid-air is pretty unforgiving -, but I really dig the slightly puzzly navigation and optimization elements at play. Good call being lenient with the number of platforms that can be used but rewarding clever placement with the star system. The game's perfectly scoped and timed - it ended just when I was getting a bit bored.
Cute presentation too. Excellent simple pixel art.
Sadly the game doesn't do anything interesting with the jam theme. Solid entry overall though, good job.
Fun entry! It's pretty hard to time mid-air placements because of your range (I think?) I couldn't get all levels perfect but it was fun to try, even when the collisions tried to stop me :P Very cute art, and a good touch with the tutorial. Good job!
Really well integrated tutorial! I really liked how the game taught the basics without any "hand holding". The star system also worked really well. Definitely added some replayability and strategizing.
@fusionnist those collisions are going to haunt me! @antsa I'm glad you enjoyed it! The most efficient routes are usually less obvious! I've noticed lots of people completely miss the shortest paths!
Pretty good! The crates were pretty hard to place accurately I made me not one to try an get three stars. I think this was because it felt more like luck to get the correct placement than skill. Might just be me though. Otherwise the graphics and audio were great! I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the game as well.
A calm and meditative game, I really liked it!
Nice blend of puzzle solving and timing — I liked having to place the crates in the air while falling. Controls are tough to get down but I think the fact that you respawn so quickly makes it not feel like much of a setback when you die. Art was really cute too. Good job!
@cole-hutson Yeah I found it hard to balance the range that I allowed the player to place crates in. Too far and it felt like there was no puzzle any longer, and with too short a range it became very difficult to place them. I think I ended up slightly too much on the short side. Thanks for your feedback!
@jakelazaroff That's exactly the reason why I kept the respawn times so low. I could imagine it would be so much more infuriating if you had to wait a whole second or more between attempts. Thanks for your feedback :)
Cool Idea. Simple and punctual. Your level design needs some polishing, but you're on the right track. Congratulations!
I like how level design of first level 'force' without telling you to understand the limit of the mechanism. Of course some SFX would be great. Some levels could be pruned, there are sometimes useless 'noise'. Nice graphics. Overall, great job
Well done! An interesting platform game, I like the idea of creating your own path through the map. The graphics and sound of the game are also good.
This has a really nice sprite style and I love the 1bit minimalist colour palette too! The music was very chill (I like!) and the instructions were easy to follow! Youyr game really stands out in the thumbnails too. Great job!
Very cool game. Simple but polished, fun and challenging to get all the stars. Great job!
Thanks for your feedback, everyone!
@euler-moises I agree, I found it pretty difficult to come up with new level concepts with quite a restricting and simple mechanic.
@frelude My approach towards tutorials is always "show, don't tell". I like to ease the player into mechanics slowly, so I'm glad you appreciate that! There were definitely things I'd have liked to change for sure.
@aquillot It's definitely a concept I could've executed a little better, but I'm glad you like it!
@weirdbitgames Amazing feedback, thank you! I find doing chilled music is generally nicer to listen to on repeat, and easier to make, so it's a win-win!
@geck0 I enjoyed implementing the challenge of getting 3 stars on each level a lot. Adds a bit more replayability, which is always welcome
A clever little puzzle plateformer. In enjoyed the simple but effective mood brought by the graphics and audio. Good job!
