Apr 5 21:47:04 Pompeii Ludum Dare 50 ♥ 4 What an athlete! I absolutely love the art style. I made it to the home and the temple, but in later attempts I always had bad timing with the flying rocks, sometimes you have no chance to evade them. I loved the jump animation. The running felt a bit weird, is one half missing? I think it jumped directly from left arm forward to right arm forward.
Apr 5 22:02:17 15m 13s Distance of Heaven ♥ 1 God simulators are always fun 😄 I never figured out a way to actually generate faith, though. The delay between activating a power and it actually doing something was weird.
Apr 8 11:29:12 61h 26m overRUN ♥ 1 I absolutely love this. I can see it being expanded where after this mission the camera swings over to another island or to a land-barrier of your fort that people are defending with more civilians to save, or maybe you have to move base, cutting a save corridor through an infested area.
Apr 8 11:51:18 22m 06s LeapSheep ♥ 2 I got somewhat frustrated by being forced into a roll when colliding with a wall while jumping. Apart from that it felt great! One tricky bit with fast moving 2d platformers is that you can not see what is coming up, so inevitably crash into any obstacle the first time around, and then have to memorize the course in order to be able to beat it. Maybe zooming out when you get faster could reduce that issue.
Apr 8 12:16:54 25m 36s Destination Station ♥ 2 I enjoyed this a lot! Reminded me a bit of fly corp, with the upgrading of stations and routes. I would have preferred the text to be bigger, and maybe at the mouse when you hover an object, so I don't have to change where I am looking all the time. On my second attempt I managed to get it all fully upgraded and then it was stable. It would be cool to either declare that as a "win" state or just keep ramping up the traveler numbers until it is impossible to keep up.
Apr 8 12:50:13 33m 19s Drawn Out ♥ 2 I loved watching the games unfold. I would have liked the ability to remove cards from the deck, since over time, the new cards just made my good cards less frequent and therefore my deck worse.
Apr 8 13:13:10 22m 57s Slime Defence ♥ 1 I enjoyed myself playing this. The shots only hitting what the laser aims at, even if they seem to visually go somewhere else threw me off a bit, but otherwise it felt really cool to play.
Apr 8 13:38:17 25m 07s RISR ♥ 1 That NFT bit.....
Apr 8 13:56:01 17m 44s Wickfall ♥ 1 Absolutely love the graphics! Gameplay feels solid, albeit a bit easy once you figure out they do not attack the towers that do damage. just collect the full 300, build one mortar and one arrows on each side, collect up 100 again, 2 more arrows, and you are pretty much save. If you wanted to expand it, adding in a day-night cycle and the ability to get items that let you venture into previously closed parts of the mine would be cool. E.g a pick to remove bolders. Could even put some story into some hidden parts.
Apr 8 14:17:09 21m 08s Prestidigitaxation ♥ 2 Muahaha, stupid tax collectors on their stupid feet can not catch me while I am floating! Not really a challenge to evade them, but I don't care, since it just feels so amazing to play anyway! The music is fabulous and combines with the cell-shading to give it a brilliantly wacky and fun vibe. I absolutely love it!
Apr 8 14:34:26 17m 17s Necropocalypse ♥ 2 After I got no bones on the first attempd, I got a couple on the second and managed to create an un-breakable dungeon. At 1200 Bones I stopped activating my traps 😆. As far as improvements go, some form of indicator for when traps are ready, and maybe make reviving skeletons somehow a player action, but otherwise va lot of fun already!
Apr 8 15:20:20 45m 54s Floody Hell ♥ 2 Using text to speech is brilliant! Occasionally I found it tricky to find the civilians, but I think that was just part of the challenge. The graphics look brilliant, but may be in need of optimization. The "plop" when you hit a ghost is amazing. I disliked the level with the large number of boxes, since they got stuck in them, and I could hardly move the boxes, either.
Apr 8 15:46:25 26m 05s Mars-O-Tage ♥ 2 Loved this one, I would have loved it even more if it had a win condition, but alas, the theme prevented that...
Apr 19 21:45:10 269h 58m Our Chains ♥ 1 This was weird and scary. I don't think animating those T-Posing enemies could have made them any scarier. Also I am not sure unchaining an unknowable god-or-angel thing is a wise move ;) Amazing submission!
Apr 19 21:55:59 10m 49s Embers ♥ 1 The animation and sounds of those tiles and the play piece are amazing! I could play this for hours just for the sound design. The gameplay is simple, but still captivating. I would love to see some kind of exploration focused game with this design.
