| Oct 5 14:50:37 | heat wave | ♥ 0 | It says a password is required to view the itch page, maybe you forgot to make it public? | |
| Oct 6 02:17:16 | 11h 26m | Drillbit Junker | ♥ 1 | This is a neat concept, I feel like I didnt have quite enough time to complete some of the tasks ( but maybe I am just slow with my mouse), and I had a little bit of trouble deciphering the gadget on the left side. Some sounds would really liven it up, the game looks great otherwise. |
| Oct 11 23:39:57 | 141h 22m | The Unstable gun | ♥ 1 | Nice job! 1 I was pretty surprised you managed to squeeze a boss fight in at the end. I think the lighting looked good and set the mood nicely, but i am not sure if it was the right choice for this genre. It felt a little disorienting. The glitched tiles were also a nice effect. |
| Oct 11 23:47:29 | 7m 32s | Animal Farm | ♥ 1 | The illustrations are very well done. However I struggled to understand how my actions were impacting the game. I couldn't tell if the order I clicked the cards really mattered.I like games where I have to figure out what to do, but it was unclear to me if there was anything to figure out here, or if I should just sit back and enjoy the experience. Overall nice job, probably a few sentences in the itch description would have cleared up all my issues. |
| Oct 12 00:22:50 | 35m 21s | Dungeon Mage | ♥ 1 | I agree with the other commenters that the difficulty/economy curve could be tweaked a bit, but otherwise this was pretty cool. I like the "push your luck" mechanic. It would nice if there were different enemy behaviors that subvert the "run in a circle" tactic. |
| Oct 12 00:45:54 | 23m 04s | Un's charming table | ♥ 0 | I really appreciate how weird some of the power ups are. Its refreshing to play a game like this with negative power ups. |
| Oct 13 02:23:41 | 25h 37m | PING 99 | ♥ 1 | I love the concept of a game about looking for places to play games, and I think that general theme could be expanded on a lot. The art and sound was great (except the bad connection sound was a bit grating). |
| Oct 13 02:32:14 | 8m 33s | Un-Named Stock Market Battle Simulator | ♥ 1 | I enjoyed reading the post mortem on the itch page, its nice to read the developers own thoughts on a game. I do agree that this is not the most fun game, but I enjoy it for what it is. Management games can be tough to pull off, nice job! |
| Oct 16 16:49:44 | 86h 17m | ALCHEMY unsTABLE | ♥ 1 | This is a pretty neat idea, I liked the walking and rotating to keep the potions from touching the walls. It might work well on a controller with two analog sticks for movement and rotation. |
| Oct 17 04:56:58 | 12h 07m | Icecream Crusher | ♥ 0 | Nice job, I liked the graphics, it had kind of a neat paper cut out style going on. I am not so sure about the uncontrollable shooting - I think it suited the theme but it felt a little frustrating to hover around waiting to shoot |
| Oct 17 17:28:16 | 12h 31m | A Senator's Sacrifice | ♥ 0 | Cool idea and well executed sounds and graphics. I thought the movement felt a little sluggish which made some of the platforming a little harder than it needed to be, but otherwise great job especially considering the time constraints |
| Oct 17 17:42:13 | 13m 57s | Witch of the Warren | ♥ 2 | I like the concept, my main issue was the text scrolled too slow. A nice change might be: -Click the "next" button once: Skip the typewriter effect, all text in box appears -Click the "next" button again: Advance to next text box. |
| Oct 17 17:46:50 | 4m 37s | Spellblade Legacy - (2D deckbuilding-lite adventure RPG) | ♥ 1 | I think I agree with most of the other commenters here. This is clearly a very ambitious project, but in its current state the ui and lack of instruction makes it very difficult to get into. |
| Oct 17 18:33:36 | 46m 46s | Unstable Truth Or Dare | ♥ 1 | This was really cool, definitely a concept that I have never seen before. I think the truth pile on the left was a little too forgiving, I think a narrower platform would be a nice tweak to the difficulty. |
| Oct 17 18:45:22 | 11m 46s | Eerie Erratic Expedition | ♥ 0 | Nice job, I think the variable shooting patterns is an interesting concept. The movement felt a little strange at times, and I couldnt really discern if it was part of the unstable theme or if I was doing something wrong. I think using higher contrast colors for the background and foreground elements would help a lot. There were some cases where I had trouble distinguishing the projectiles from the background. |
| Oct 17 18:54:20 | 8m 58s | Brittle Buildings | ♥ 2 | Nice game, the reload animation and sound was super great. I enjoyed the puzzle of trying to optimize my building. Probably beyond the scope of a jam but a way to expand the building area would have been cool. Like some other commenters I had some issues exiting the buy phase but I figured it out eventually. |
| Oct 18 16:25:04 | 21h 30m | Unstable Working Conditions | ♥ 0 | This was quite difficult, I was unable to get past the third level. It felt quite difficult to accurately throw the boxes, maybe a system for throwing that works more like Angry Birds or Desert Golfing would have felt a little more controlled. I thought it was interesting that you could knock other objects into the controllable box, and then throw them again to try and stack them. I didn't make it far enough to see if that was used more later on, but its a cool idea. |
| Oct 18 16:39:34 | 14m 30s | Unstable Business | ♥ 0 | This was a fun idea, I think the levels felt a little timid, some larger ramps/jumps would have been cool. The slopes generally felt pretty gentle. Wheelies and flips are always fun :) |
| Oct 20 15:51:14 | 47h 11m | Full Tilt | ♥ 1 | Super cool proof on concept! I was surprised at how easy it was to get everything set up and working. There is definitely potential for this kind of control in other web games. With that being said I found the controls to feel a little unresponsive but for a compo project with a novel control scheme I am not concerned about responsiveness. |
