Oct 5 08:31:40 A Hard Pill to Swallow ♥ 1 Wow, mechanics was fun, and you got a lot done! Awesome!
Oct 5 09:33:16 1h 01m Spirits Low ♥ 2 The game was really cool and thematic. I did find it a bit too dark for me, but it definitely stands out. I think that adding a way to see more information / organise information in an overview would have helped me with making decisions, rather then having to navigate between screens. Great pixel art style, and the the 3d head thing was really cool! The screen lines did make things hard to read.
Oct 6 05:03:24 19h 30m Block it neon ♥ 1 Pretty neat game! One thing I would comment on is that I expected to be able to do something like a t-spin and failed miserably. Would be nice if there was some way to fill in the areas below overhangs. The aesthetic and sounds are pretty nice!
Oct 6 05:36:01 32m 37s Realignment ♥ 1 You sure packed in a lot of content in 72 hours! The short story was well written and enjoyable. I liked the little easter eggs too! Hard for me to really critic, because as a base product it's been executed really well. Short of producing more content (I really liked the game), I think character (visual) design was probably the weakest part of the experience, as Perry doesn't really have a lot of identifying features (their silhouette is a sphere). The graphics are by no means bad, but the design could be better. Could also maybe add some character animation, like blinking Perry's 'eye' / idle animations, could help sell investment in the character more.
Oct 6 07:19:30 1h 43m Timmy's Very Bad School Day ♥ 3 Wow, this game is really fleshed out, super engaging and has great art and music! It has some minor bugs, but nothing game breaking. Honestly really sweet! I think I'm kinda understating how much stuff you all got done, this is like 20 minutes of gameplay, that's way impressive for a gamejam! Since the game is so short and tight, beyond asking for things like collision hitboxes to be neater in rooms, and fixing a bug when you click an action at 0 hp (messes up the ui a bit until next battle)... not really much I can offer in terms of constructive criticism. Great job!
Oct 10 00:22:14 89h 02m The Game: Unstable Version ♥ 1 Really nice game! Level 10 kicked my butt for a while! If I had to critique, I think it would have improved the UX if there was a visual indicator when a reload is complete on the character (like, a battery indicator on the gun) or an audio indicator. I liked the fact that hearts were dangerous when you are on full health, I thought that was the coolest aspect of the concept! 7/9 bugs discovered.
Oct 10 00:36:05 13m 51s Unstable Adventures of the Space Engineer ♥ 1 Nice short game! I got Unstable fixed: 12 and Lifetime: 218. I really liked the environment, but I don't think I was given enough time in the game to appreciate each location. Which is a shame, as it seems like you put a lot of work into fleshing out the areas.
Oct 10 00:58:07 22m 02s Maritime for a Latte ♥ 2 Nice! I got £50.30 total :D In terms of critique, I think if you had inputs hints / control hints drawn on the screen, it would have improved the UX, but this is a minor detail. Overall a solid entry with a very fun concept!
Oct 10 01:13:52 15m 45s Rickety Ranch ♥ 0 This game is great! I loved the humor and art! Some of the hitboxes were a bit janky, and the horse was a bit skiddy, but it wasn't overly frustrating. Would love to see more games in this style from you :D
Oct 10 01:24:10 10m 18s Store Oasis ♥ 3 Very nice short game! The balancing act of keeping things balanced was an interesting concept, but I don't feel like it was that impactful. I loved the robots, their interactions were so cool!
Oct 14 01:20:51 95h 56m Unstable Rocket ♥ 0 I really liked the concept! I think it was a bit too difficult to deal with enemies that shoot from behind the rocket, in those situations the forcefield is the only option you have, and if it's on cooldown you can't deal with the next enemy. Otherwise, I think that would be a pretty cool game to see continue past the jam :D The art was also really nice!
Oct 14 01:55:03 34m 12s Cosmic Time-Out ♥ 1 Wow! Really great presentation, and definitely fun to play. My hand however, is shaking from the difficult small and precise movements. A way to dynamically increase and decrease sensitivity would be appreciated, like a scale factor. I got up to the second hill, but I couldn't figure out how to solve it. Overall, it was really charming and I really like the text boxes! Was that a custom text mesh pro shader thing?
Oct 14 03:33:51 1h 38m Above the Void ♥ 1 Four corners had me for a while, but I persisted and finally figured it out. phew! As did the final level "floating islands" (Had to realize I had to go clockwise). Will bump the idea of a rewind mechanic, like baba is you. I would think that would require an event replay which is something that is pretty complex if it doesn't already gel with the architecture of your game. And OMG, lets talk about the mechanics! You implemented so many! And they all worked really tightly together! The puzzle design is amazing! All in all, very fun! Wish there was a browser release so more people would play this game!
Oct 14 04:33:16 59m 25s GhostShore with a bulb ♥ 1 Really nice polish and well-rounded narrative game! A critic is that switching between lights seemed to spam when I held space, and sometimes I would switch to a different light then the one shown by the "lock on" icon. But all in all, a great entry!
Oct 14 04:38:54 5m 38s right stuff aerospace ♥ 1 A nice classic shooter with a bit of a twist! A critic would be that there isn't enough contrast between the background and the enemies. It would good to see the value of the enemies pushed lighter or for the background to be made darker, maybe even both. Otherwise, a good take on the "unstable" theme!
