| Apr 26 14:18:51 | The Reverse of the Summit | ♥ 2 | I really enjoyed the idea of being able to jump in what usually a "move left and right" genre, it really is a refreshing take. Being able to leave is also quite clever, it could really work in more games of this genre. Overall it is a cool, but really unforgiving, concept. Congratulations on your entry ! | |
| Apr 26 14:25:38 | 6m 47s | Diving Festival | ♥ 1 | A bit barebones but cool concept ! Others said it before but it does indeed feels like a Star Trek simulator (Deep Sea Nine ?). I feel like a more fleshed out game could totally work, it is a really nice mix of action and management. Congratulations on your entry ! |
| Apr 26 14:51:47 | 26m 09s | Potato Pandemonium | ♥ 3 | This game has no rights to be this fun. It looks and feels like a ragegame (and at times, it is) but I found myself trying to keep on going forward. Disclaimer : I got stuck at the "5 platforms" after the first boss and I couldn't find a way to pass through them. Still had a great time, congratulations on your entry ! |
| Apr 26 15:11:24 | 19m 37s | Spelunking Simulator Pro 2022 | ♥ 0 | Loved this one ! It feels really polished and plays really. The levels are really well done : not too obvious and not too frustrating if you get into a groove. The "lava" zone is maybe the most frustating, it's where I started to feel I didn't have enough control over the drill. Overall it's a really solid game. Congratulations on such a nice entry ! |
| Apr 26 15:25:00 | 13m 36s | Grotto Down | ♥ 1 | That death sound :'). Really well executed and the mechanic really works. The "eye" ennemy is quite a nice idea to counter balance the obvious "slide along the walls" strategy, everytime I saw him while sliding that's where the game really shines and become a way more dynamic. My only frustration would be the balance between such an agressive and dynamic mechanic (the hook) and how overall the game plays, it feels a little too calm sometimes. Now that I think of it, it is quite a difficult thing to balance without become plainly frustrating. But overall it is a really solid game, I enjoyed it a lot. Congrats on your entry ! |
| Apr 26 15:33:46 | 8m 46s | Dig Dog | ♥ 1 | Nice one ! The begining felt weird because there was no gems at all the around the 7.5k points mark there was a lot of them. Cool entry, congratulations ! |
| Apr 26 15:42:20 | 8m 34s | Debt Collector | ♥ 3 | Cool clicker game, impressive level of polish. The leaderboards are a welcome addition and a timer really makes it an enjoyable experience for people who are not that much into clicker games. Congrats on your entry ! |
| Apr 26 16:59:53 | 1h 17m | Stabalot | ♥ 1 | Fuck. Voltaire. Yeah, this is the one where I gave up. The first two were pretty fun once you got the hang of it, I really enjoyed doing them AGAIN AND AGAIN BECAUSE VOLTAIRE IS BULLSHIT AND I HAVE TO START OVER. Really solid game, such a blast. Congratulations |
| Apr 26 17:37:16 | 37m 23s | Dropdown | ♥ 0 | Cute game ! I feel like it was a bit unfair at times : in such a small space it's easy to get stuck and lose for bullshit reasons. Things like a straight line of blocks are manageable but I got stuck between blocks and walls without having any kind of way out :(. Died a few times while landing on a block near the edge of the screen too. Congratulation on your entry, it could be a fun mobile-commuter friendly game with some polish. |
| Apr 26 18:56:27 | 1h 19m | Vinewell | ♥ 1 | Overall the idea makes a lot of sense and fits the theme pretty, it's a really coherent and well tought game. My main issue is that despite all his qualities the procgen needs a lot of love (pun non intended).Half of my playthroughs were lost because - even if the collision are forgiving - there was no way down. With a bit of polish on the generation and controls you could have a really fun post LD game. Congratulations on your entry ! |
| Apr 26 19:15:50 | 19m 23s | Deeper & Deeper | ♥ 0 | Fun take on the dual (trial) purpose of mechanics. I was a bit confused at first but once it clicked...yeah that was it. Death mechanic is a tad problematic (I've respawned with the same amount of bullets I had before dying) and the bullets are a bit too crazy to reliably use them. Other than that great game knowing the timeframe, nice concept ! Congratulations on your entry ! |
| Apr 26 19:49:26 | 33m 36s | Rocket Fishing | ♥ 1 | Fully updgraded. At this point it's not about fishing anymore, it's about sending Neptune a messagee. A bit short to my taste but that was just becasue I enjoyed playing it so much. It reminds me of the crazy flash-games-chain-reaction-extravangaza (in a good way). Congratulations on your entry ! |
| Apr 26 20:00:19 | 10m 53s | Dungeon Deeper | ♥ 1 | Fighting pigs ? Count me in ! Really nice time rush game, the visuals are awesome (I'm a sucker for crt shaders) and the game feels good to play. The ennemies might be a tad angry and I've found myself frustraded not to be able to go down if I could manage to escape them. Other than that it is a really great and polished game ! Congratulations ! |
| Apr 26 20:10:57 | 10m 38s | Fairy Snares | ♥ 2 | Such a beautiful game. Really nice mood, music is awesome. Got stuck after freeing the rabbit and falling into the pit. I could not die or reset, the escape menu wasn't of any help. Tried 4 more times to go through but nothing :(. Congratulations on your entry tho ! |
| Apr 26 21:50:31 | 1h 39m | Deep Breaths | ♥ 2 | Woaw, I never knew hom much I needed to play a "Pixel Art Racing Endless Runner About Meditation" type of game before this. That's a really impressive, beautiful and fun game. Congratulations, that's one hell of an entry, my favourite so far ! |
| Apr 27 15:25:07 | 17h 34m | DISPOSAL | ♥ 3 | "That's simple I just have to dig in a straight li...OH NO NO NO !" What a cool and refreshing game, really well put together. The controls are, at times, a bit uncooperative but other than that rare occurence it's a lot of fun. Game looks good, audio is great and even taking damage is an enjoyable experience for that face alone. Congratulations on your entry ! |
| Apr 27 15:57:32 | 32m 25s | The Deep North | ♥ 1 | I saved the kingdom ! That's actually quite a nice little game, I got a strong GoT night watch vibe. The mood is really strong with one, overall it was a really enjoyable experience, duration might seems a bit short but for gamejam standards it's perfect. Congratulations on your entry ! |
| Apr 28 14:25:30 | 22h 27m | Lost Child | ♥ 0 | Cool shooter ! Sure, it could be improved : movement is pretty slow and I still don't know why I was taking damage without ennemies near me (or even on a screen) during a few run. I also feel like I could have enjoyed a shorter cd on the dash. But, as simple as it is, it actually works well : shooting, ennemies, level design, etc. We all know how much gamefeel is a hard thing to get right (even more in a game jam) and it's quite a nicely packed game, congratulations on your entry ! |
| Apr 28 19:55:06 | 5h 29m | Don't Pop Descent | ♥ 2 | Really nice game, I was pleasantly surprised to see a game like this made with UE. The difficulty ramps up quite fast but I was not unfair. At times it was a bit panicky but identifying safe spots and moving to them is part of the genre. My only points of frustration were that music was a bit agressive and the lack of checkpoint or any kind of save-states. Level 1 is easy to breeze through once you've played two or three times but it was still a bit frustating to do it over and over again. Other than that the game feels and play nice, the controls work fine. It was a pretty enjoyable experience, congratulations on your entry ! |
| Apr 29 21:09:50 | 25h 14m | Depth Orb | ♥ 0 | That was a really cool game ! Controls were responsive even if shooting direction was a bit off. The ability to aim either with the arrow keys or the mouse were a pretty nice touch for people testing "on the go", thanks for that. Gfx were a bit too old-school to my taste but overall it's quite coherent visually and it's not that disturbing. There is a hard lock zone after the first boss (mentionned by other jammers) and it was (with the flying platform, spikes and "water inertia" block) that felt a bit unfair. Other than that the level design was really nice and diverse. Overall I really enjoyed playing this one, congratulations on your entry ! |
| Apr 30 19:43:54 | 22h 34m | Meerkattika | ♥ 1 | Oh yeah ! Melting a snake face with meerkat metal. I needed that. Cool game, perfect duration. If I were to nitpick I think the controls could be a tad tighter to make the game a bit more dynamic. Other than that the it was a lot of fun. I'm really impressed by how the difficulty is dosed : even if the game wasn't that hard there was some actual moments of tension due the snake proximity. It was a really nice feeling to escape. Congratulations on your entry ! |
| Apr 30 22:41:22 | 2h 57m | Pretty Flower | ♥ 1 | Cool aesthetic, the game felt really cohesive and the shift from monochrome to colored at the end was a nice touch. It felt like an actual reward for finishing the game. Also : nice level design. Others said it before but yeah the controls are a bit floaty (as someone who made too much platformer in unity for gamejams I know how hard it is to get right, I really feel you). Even for such a peaceful game it lacks oomph, pump your gravity scale up, don't be afraid to turn all your values to 11. Other than that it was a cool short game, congratulations on your entry ! |
