| Apr 26 18:37:38 | Aye! Aye! Captain! | ♥ 2 | The controls, graphics and audio could be tuned a bit more, but I really liked the idea here! Super cool to learn about and explore different zones. Those anglerfish were my favourite and having wacky guides was neat. | |
| Apr 26 18:52:44 | 15m 06s | Decay | ♥ 2 | Great interpretation of the theme, it's a serious issue that needs to be addressed more often! I was a bit confused by the buildings on the first day, I barely noticed what had changed. The text at the end of the day helped, however I felt like it wasn't entirely accurate sometimes (I went to the office building but got a dialogue saying that money was a concern). Traveling through the map like that didn't feel the best, but maybe that's what you were going for? Perhaps some signs or reducing the darkness would help - it helped with the mood but was a bit much when I wanted to move around. It's a creative concept, so nicely done! |
| Apr 26 19:05:52 | 13m 08s | MinerClicker | ♥ 1 | I enjoyed this game a lot! A very simple concept but plays smoothly and has great replaybility as well. Really well done! I did run into a bug where I couldn't mine anymore after I used the sonar on an obsidian tile (I may have clicked on the empty space by mistake). The game still played but I couldn't mine any block or buy anything any more. Uploaded a screenshot to show where it happened. Capture.PNG I really do think this is a fantastic game and would like to congratulate and thank you both for making it. |
| Apr 26 19:16:49 | 10m 57s | Go deep | ♥ 1 | The WebGL build didn't load but the Windows version works properly. Very creative idea! When I realised just how innovative the core mechanic of this game is, I was quite surprised. The art looks great and conveys the difference of depth as well as is possible for 2D art. The jump in difficulty from the first level to the second level was a bit too much, but the game was very neat and interesting. |
| Apr 26 19:24:26 | 7m 37s | Rusty goes Deep | ♥ 2 | Congratulations on your first jam! It's wonderful that you finished a game. The platforming is quite smooth and felt nice, however, it was a bit too tricky to manage it in the dark. The lights dimmed out pretty quickly, so perhaps you could consider creating an easier level to start off with? Just when I thought I had cracked the level, I fell into water which I hadn't even noticed earlier. This could be a neat final level, but including some sort of a tutorial or a simpler gameplay segment at the start would definitely be a good addition. Nevertheless, well done! |
| Apr 26 19:39:43 | 15m 17s | Maze Of The Minotaur | ♥ 2 | Nice maze game, the low poly art was pleasant and the voice acting was quite good! The whistling was creeping me out a bit for some reason, even though it sounded just like birdsong. It was quite esoteric somehow. Reached the end in 4:51, but I was struggling to click on the levers a lot, so I may have been a bit faster than that. The maze was good, and the voice acting and whistling really made it for me. |
| Apr 26 19:49:06 | 9m 23s | Falling & Shooting | ♥ 1 | This game is pure fun! Very straightforward, very enjoyable. Great music as well. Awesome work! |
| Apr 27 04:54:34 | 9h 05m | Deep Love for Chocolate | ♥ 0 | The music was great, and it had a nice chocolatey theme too! I kept dying to the debris in level two the moment I spawned, I think I got into a bad position and got lost all my lives. Fun game though and it plays very smoothly! |
| Apr 27 05:04:15 | 9m 41s | Georgina and the End of the World | ♥ 4 | Creative idea and the voice acting is really nice! I ran into a crash in the scene with the cocoon but restarted and managed to finish it. Reminded me a bit of a storybook I had when I was really young - The Very Hungry Caterpillar. It's a unique format for a game for sure. |
| Apr 27 05:14:39 | 10m 24s | Experiment 626 | ♥ 1 | The story had me very curious throughout. A little polishing on the writing and code would really uplift this game. Looking forward to what you do with it in the future! |
| Apr 27 05:28:25 | 13m 46s | Atychiphobia | ♥ 0 | Nice and responsive platforming, and it had an interesting storyline as well! Good job! |
| Apr 27 05:34:02 | 5m 37s | 48 Tons | ♥ 1 | There's a lot of work put into this story, well done! I came across a couple of minor typos, but other than that this was very interesting and the meta narration was hilarious! |
| Apr 27 05:38:54 | 4m 52s | Johnny Dreams Bad | ♥ 1 | Congratulation on your first jam! It's a neat concept but it sure was tricky to play as the enemies swarmed me very quickly and seemingly had very large colliders. But it was quite fun, good job! |
| Apr 27 05:45:28 | 6m 34s | The Mystery of Stalore-9 | ♥ 3 | It's an interesting idea, I really would like to explore an alien planet this way! However, the game was way too dark and I struggled with mostly everything. Wasn't sure what kept killing me, but I died a lot. Good attempt. |
| Apr 27 05:55:18 | 9m 50s | Deeper Into The Mind | ♥ 4 | I liked it, some of the animations were pretty great! I think I defeated the two bosses but the ground broke and it showed the game over screen. Not sure if I won or lost, and if I lost then I am not sure why I lost. The idea is cool, and some tiny details such as health indication would help make it cooler! |
| Apr 27 06:08:55 | 13m 37s | They Told You | ♥ 1 | The textures on the mountains and the ground were pretty nice and added to the mood of the game (along with the audio). Although the level was designed well and guided me to the next note perfectly, I wouldn't have minded either a little less walking or a skybox and some other art and audio to experience. It's a nice short experience, reminded me of some great titles like Dear Esther. |
| Apr 27 06:21:34 | 12m 39s | deepr | ♥ 4 | Hilarious! This satire is a really fantastic idea. I'm worried that I will end up spamming your site with the most absurd quotes I can possibly generate. |
| Apr 27 06:38:32 | 16m 58s | Fish'o'gram | ♥ 1 | Great fun, it was pretty much perfect. Didn't know there were so many fish scale enthusiasts out there willing to drop some big money on zoomed in fish photos. |
| Apr 27 07:57:19 | 1h 18m | Khazads | ♥ 2 | Fun game! I finished it pretty quickly however I did not find that one amulet. So the maze was definitely good. I hope you finish the boss fight because the gameplay is pretty nice. |
| Apr 27 08:48:50 | 51m 31s | No Way Up | ♥ 3 | Awesome game! Some sounds and a clearer UI would have helped, but this game is definitely very enjoyable! |
| Apr 27 09:25:08 | 36m 18s | DOWNHELL | ♥ 1 | Amazing work here! Everything is smooth and works perfectly. The game is a tad bit difficult, with a lot of enemies popping out on the very first floor at times. But otherwise I'm blown away, really good game! |
| Apr 27 16:41:04 | 7h 15m | Down Under | ♥ 1 | Really fun game, the level design is clever. Even though it's made up of static scenes with not a lot of moving elements, the gameplay "feels" fast paced. It's simple and well made. |
