Apr 28 20:46:37 Tiny Fragments ♥ 1 Very fun game! Reminded me a lot of the old Lemmings games, both gameplay-wise and music-wise. Well done!
Apr 28 21:03:38 17m 01s Watch out, silly pets. ♥ 1 After 2km I stopped saving the pets, as I felt the game was too repetitive and there was no challenge as the difficulty kept being the same. The first few obstacles were a little bit too fast and it was hard to grasp how to circumvent them, but after that it was pretty easy. I think the game would benefit from a rising difficulty and also from not being able to stop the time forever. Maybe make the pauses limited and limit the time more the further you get. To make the controls easier, you could maybe add hotkeys, so could select the objects with 1, 2, 3, 4. Nonetheless the game feels very polished and the art looks very nice. Good job, the only issue I felt was the aforementioned difficulty problem.
Apr 29 20:42:30 23h 38m Nest Guard VR ♥ 2 Well done for your first VR game. Sadly, I also found it pretty easy. I just stood on the eggs and did a shamanic dance and all the predators just ran into my claws. I really liked the music, felt prehistoric. With more content this would be a very nice game. I'd love to play a dinosaur in a more fleshed out VR game.
Apr 29 20:53:38 11m 08s Deliverey (VR Only) ♥ 0 Oh boy, I was without my driving sickness for like 16 years now, but this driving really brought it back to me. 🤢 😆 I really liked the idea of the gameplay and I have much respect for making a VR game all alone in a jam. The controls and the physics felt very wonky. While driving, I could hear the packages in the back stuttering around. This delivery boy seems to have very weak arms, because as soon as I grabbed a package it wiggled around and I didn't really have control over my hand. Thus it was very hard to get those packages through the doors or even upstairs. Also I'd hate to deliver packages in this neighbourhood, can the inhabitants please put some street signs around and mark their houses with house numbers? 😄 Nonetheless, very well done, man. I imagine it is very hard to test the controls thoroughly for VR game during a jam.
Apr 29 21:21:55 28m 17s Simon DJ ♥ 1 First I played the web version, but I couldn't really get the timings right, then I did put on my Oculus Rift and oh boi, this was a really nice experience. I love the gameplay idea and it pulled me in very fast. I think I made the ladies and gents party for around 15 minutes, then I stopped, because it was repetitive after all. Some caveats, I have: - The scratching indicator wasn't very clear to me, should I scratch the whole while the capsule rides through the disk? - One needed to put the volume of the left track to maximum volume, and this was too loud, the song was clipping. - As I mentioned afore, after some time the game was repetitive. But for a jam game, it was still very much content. - Pressing the trigger button to interact with the buttons was a little bit strange. Would've been nice if they just triggered on touch. Also moving the sliders would've been better with the grab button. But this varies depending on the used headset and controllers, I guess. I had very much fun with the game, partying and dancing with the crowd. I think, if you flesh this game out more and implement more content, it could get really popular amongst VR players. Good job!
May 3 21:27:20 96h 05m Open Fire! ♥ 0 Nice looking game with good audio. Gameplay-wise it was a bit dull, but the storytelling, animations and all the stuff was very nice. I think if you implement more gameplay with the same level of storytelling, it can get very good.
May 3 21:31:07 3m 47s Oak Defenders ♥ 1 The game was really fun and it looked good. Also the music was well fitting with the change of music during the building and wave phases. I would've liked a possibility to remove towers/plants to replace them by other towers. I had a good time while defending and watching the tree growing.
May 8 11:18:29 109h 47m Covid Runner ♥ 1 I liked the overall look of the game and the gameplay was simple and fun. As already aforementioned, the laser-beams were hard to read, because of the boxes. But being able to jump over each laser, even if they were at the top, there was no real need for reading them and thus to slide. The controls were a little bit strange, I think I would have chosen different keys, but with needing only shooting and jumping it was okay. After the background music (btw nicely fitting) played through it didn't loop, thus it was pretty quiet after around the first kilometre. It was now that I realised that more sound effects, would add something to the game, e.g. jumping sound, laser beams, the roll crashing stuff. I had two sections where I had around 200m-300m of only viruses and shooting, the randomisation maybe was a little bit off here. Sometimes when shooting, the bullets hit not the first virus in line, but the one after that. Through this, I sometimes ran in to viruses. I stopped playing after 2km, because it became a little bit repetitive by then. You did a good job, I had fun playing, keep on!
May 8 11:24:18 5m 49s Air for Inspiration ♥ 1 Very fun little game, I like the overall composition of the music and the art. The pre-rendered letters have an old-school feeling on them. The game is small, but also very polished, good job!
May 8 11:33:46 9m 28s Tiny Reactors ♥ 1 Very nice game. For me the progression, even in normal mode, was little bit too fast, thus I didn't score very high. The game idea is great, fitting the theme greatly and very well implemented. It feels very polished. The music is very fitting to the stressed feeling of this game. I liked that you try to confuse by writing the word 'red' in blue colour and that sort of stuff. The biggest problem for me were the 'Find the odd'-panels. If there was an online ranking list, I'd try hard to get better. 😄
