Apr 21 18:56:55 The Lockdown ♥ 0 I collapsed the economy several times, but France was freed from pandemic. Cool game, random events add some sense of humour (not sure if intentionally).
Apr 21 19:02:16 5m 21s Plant Rescuer ♥ 1 I don't think I am sure how the "heart" meter works, but besides that it's pretty functional game.
Apr 21 19:03:33 1m 17s The Light Within It ♥ 1 It seems, like you haven't published the game on itch.io, @ me when you do that.
Apr 21 19:18:20 14m 47s Chill Thrive ♥ 3 I REALLY liked the way music smoothly transitioned between day and night, and how more layers of instruments were added as I played. It felt weirdly... System Shock'ish xD Overall, that is pretty interesting concept for a game, maybe I would change the "wind" mechanic. Where shaking clouds to make it rain was fine, dragging the wind button gave no feedback, and I was not sure if it works.
Apr 21 19:30:13 11m 53s Keep Itt Alive ♥ 1 Core mechanic works fine, although it needs a bit of refinement (it was annoying, when bird spawned bellow me, so I had no chance of seeing it). Cool game ;)
Apr 21 19:53:00 22m 47s Hacking is Probably Not Like This ♥ 0 That is REALLY cool! Watching progress bar for the final hack nearing completion, while timer ticks down towards zero is one of the most tense experiences I've had with ANY LD game ever xD Great! I also liked the story beats, it turns out, that I have a soft spot for retrofuturistic cyberhacker stories ;)
Apr 21 20:56:06 1h 03m Please Stay on the Line ♥ 1 At the start I was kinda disappointed. There was no animations, no sound, but then... Well, I will not spoil it. Let me just say, that as a horror fan, I am rarely that happy to eat my words up. The lighting looks nice, although I am not sure if the second mode of flashlight is really necessary (the game gets too bright, and it kinda kills the atmosphere). The cell phone thing was kinda cool too, but its kinda hard to play while using it (which was probably intentional). i really like it, can't wait to see where you will take it!
Apr 21 21:08:12 12m 06s The Ludum Dare Flame 🔥 ♥ 1 It has a lot of potential for a social space, and I like it for that ;)
Apr 21 21:16:05 7m 53s VITAL 2020 ♥ 1 Fits the theme nicely, I also kinda liked that unsettling atmosphere. Especially audio
Apr 21 21:28:53 12m 48s Overly Fragile Relationships ♥ 1 It has a lot of potential for emergent gameplay! The stories that generate during gameplay are often quite hilarious. Cool game!
Apr 22 17:13:42 19h 44m KITAL: The Weight Of Survival ♥ 0 It is an interesting concept for a puzzle game, however I kinda disliked combat (maybe because I was bad at it).
Apr 22 20:10:12 2h 56m Survivors - Protect or die trying ♥ 0 Nice interpretation of theme, although there is a ton of things you have to work on. I like the pixelart tho.
Apr 22 20:49:10 38m 58s Responsibility ♥ 1 I always dreamed about having an alien friend... Too bad I have accidentally killed him, and caused an alien invasion. Then I played Responsibility, and it is a cute little game ;)
Apr 22 21:12:44 23m 34s Escape from Exodus Prime ♥ 1 I am kinda lost on what I am supposed to do, but hey, its your first game! :D Congrats, hope you keep working on it.
Apr 25 09:16:40 60h 03m Meltdown ♥ 1 Okay, so this is pretty competent entry (I especially enjoyed the humour), but there are a lot of rough edges. The game kinda feels cryptic, even with the manual. If you are planning to work on your game, I would recommend implementing a sort of tooltip system within game space, so the important info is always at hand. Also, if the game over screen told me exactly why I failed, I would have easier time learning from my mistakes.
Apr 25 09:25:13 8m 33s The Gumbo Garden ♥ 1 I'm a sucker for music that adapts to gameplay, so you got a big plus for that right from the get-go. What you seem to be aiming at is thinking man's time attack game, and I kinda dig that.
Apr 25 13:31:16 4h 06m The lich feast ♥ 1 The idea is there, however the game seems to be lacking a bit. Hope you can build on that.
Apr 25 13:47:00 15m 44s Planet Doom ♥ 0 This is pretty solid entry. The idea of blowing up astronomical object, to stop evil alien infestation weirdly reminded me of the very first Halo game. The gameplay is pretty good, although it took me a while to get used to control scheme. The only issues I have are with the GOD DAMN SCREEN SHAKE and I kinda found the music to be a little off-putting.
Apr 25 14:08:34 21m 34s The Puzzle Of The Fantastic Fungus ♥ 2 It was super fun! Especially the final moments, as the timer was nearing completion, and I tried to save at least one cell of fungus. The music was cool too, I'm all for dynamic soundtracks.
Apr 25 16:02:18 1h 53m Protect the Walnut! ♥ 1 Okay, so there is a pretty cool game buried in this. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to enjoy it. Maybe it was because of my unimpressive platforming skills. Which is a shame, because mechanics seem to be well implemented and explained. So yeah, nice game, just not for me :(
Apr 25 16:07:07 4m 49s "Zen" Garden ♥ 0 Pretty good concept for a game about managing crowds, while trying to build something. Although it gets pretty unforgiving, when you have over 70 flowers.
Apr 25 16:14:44 7m 37s The Busy Gardener ♥ 0 Pretty cool! I can image people playing it to create their own beautiful gardens ;)
Apr 27 19:25:00 51h 10m Fatter ♥ 1 If we want videogames to be treated like a serious works of art, we need to have games that push the envelope, and move the medium in uncharted and sometimes uncomfortable territory. Games like Silent Hill 2, Shadow of the Colossus, Witcher 3 or Fatter. Fatter is a game about inherently human experience - eating junk food and farting, while avoiding disgusting vegetables like broccoli. While at the first glance it might seem as "dumb" or "primitive" it is, in fact, an accurate depiction of what most of the humanity was doing during 2020's pandemic. And let me tell you - Metal Gear Solid 2 was also misunderstood after its launch. I love it.
Apr 27 19:56:10 31m 10s Keep the Flame Alive ♥ 1 It is pretty cool! Kinda reminds me of feeling I've had during jam sessions :)
May 4 18:58:13 167h 02m Father dies At The End ♥ 1 Damn, the kid's voiceover was really great, I loved that. The graphics were cool a swell. Overall cool game.
