Apr 21 11:16:48 Keep it afloat! ♥ 4 Nice graphics! Nice music! Nice game!
Apr 21 11:30:09 13m 21s Deep Root ♥ 2 Hi! I first had trouble understanding what to do as I lost my first try. When I retried, I understood how I had to play in order to make the tree survive and great fun playing it!
Apr 21 11:54:56 24m 47s Florence and the Alien ♥ 1 Yeah: I got it! I rescued the Alien! Nic egame, took me a while to understand that I had to pick the Alien up though (I'm not the kind of guy that reads before playing ^^). Congratulation for this submition! I would advice you to add game clarity, for example, when you're close to the Alien, show a "Press UP to catch me!".
Apr 21 12:03:22 8m 26s Ludum Defendare ♥ 0 So smart! Simple but fun! Good entry there! Good job!
Apr 21 12:09:32 6m 10s CYBER-SHIELD ♥ 0 So dynamic! Music's awesome!
Apr 21 14:42:02 2h 32m MACHINA ♥ 1 Waow, this game is so polished, it feels so smooth! Loved it! Thanks for the experience!
Apr 21 15:04:03 22m 01s Keeping Itt Alive ♥ 3 Wow, this game was an awesome experience! I wanted to give up to be honest because I'm a frustrated player, but it kept me playing it to finish the entire game! Clap clap to you, it was a very good game experience. In my opinion everything was well done - Graphics - Nice musics (even if they're not made by you :P) - Gameplay is simple but efficient - Controls are intuitive - Difficulty progression was neat 10/10 for me! Good Job!
Apr 21 15:19:23 15m 20s Keep the Dumb Rabbits Alive ! ♥ 0 The gameplay isn't that easy to understand, but nice entry still :). It's fun to kick rabbits for their own safety :D
Apr 21 15:26:28 7m 05s Garden Royale ♥ 1 Good game, good job dude :D
Apr 22 12:05:54 20h 39m Phase 7 ♥ 1 Honestly I didn't think I would like this game so much! very nicely done. The only point is, once you've understood the mecanins of the game, it feels a bit like the game is not resisting you enough. It would be appreciated to add a bit of difficulty here and there :). Maybe something like events, that have to be handled. Anyway, your game is great Is it a 420 on BB8's body by the way? 👅
Apr 22 12:13:59 8m 05s Only One More ♥ 1 Nice game dude. The difficulty is at nice capped level, although a progression would have been nice. It feels like you should already know what to do when you arrive in this bar.
Apr 22 12:48:27 34m 28s Rodolf ♥ 1 Hey! The game is fun but so hard at night! I really like the music graphics and baby sounds! The Level Design is also very nice. I just think that night is too hard :/. Still very nice Game Jam entry!
Apr 22 13:01:32 13m 05s Apple Panick ♥ 1 Haven't put a full five stars until this game! Thank you for the very cool experience! I have nothing more to say than what the others said but BRAVO!
Apr 22 13:57:19 55m 47s FireLight ♥ 0 Hi! Funny that you and I got the same kind of ideas for the "Keep it Alive" theme! The graphics are neat, but the game lacks of sound and feedbacks. Indeed, I really didn't know if the keys I was pressing were actually doing anything, nor if I got wood on me when I chopped down the trees... This is the kind of things that you'll learn by practising, and for a first experience, your game is far from being absolutly bad ;). Keep it up!
Apr 22 14:21:39 24m 20s Keeper Of Light ♥ 1 What a nice mood, Orks aren't always slaining Humans with their axe, sometimes they use it to chop down trees ;). I have a couple advice for you concerning the game. Especially as our game also uses the fire as mechanic and because we struggled to keep our game "balanced". First, you didn't use any static UI elements like a fire health bar, maybe you didn't want to, but when you're far from your fire, I think you need a bit more info about how it's going. You could make the Ork speak like "The warmth of the fire keeps my heart ready for tomorrow's battle" when the fire is at max health. And something like "If I don't bring up a log right now, I will probably never see my children again.". Those are exagerated sentences of course but you could add some more depth with such a way ;). Also, I think your game is not balanced, you can't keep your fire alive more than 2 minutes if you don't catch a shroom. Otherwise you can't reach the trees, chop them down and bring the logs back in time. I think this problem comes from your level design. In order to regulate that you could place a ring of trees around the camp, as "starter pack" , and spare them as you go further. This would allow your player to store a bit of wood. Having some storage of wood will then allow him to explore a bit, which is interesting in your case because your game is very moody. I hope that this could help you, don't hesitate to reply to me as we can talk about it ;). Still a great entry, well done!
Apr 23 15:25:46 25h 04m It's Just Human ♥ 0 Awesome! Simply AWESOME!
Apr 23 15:36:53 11m 07s Keep Your Dreams Alive ♥ 2 Nice game there, a simple clicker, but it is very effective! Nice first entry here :)
Apr 23 16:00:07 23m 14s The Last of the Dino Eggs ♥ 1 I had to retry this a few times but I MADE IT! I saved the dinos eggs! I think the map could deserve some adjustments but it was far from being unplayable even if, yes, the egg on the top is kinda tricky to get. I usually made my way to the top, took the egg and placed it on a lower empty slot :). I gave up on many games during the testing I've done (me giving up doesn't mean I put bad notes btw)but I've managed to find courage to finish your game!
Apr 24 14:38:51 22h 38m Fire Camp ♥ 1 Hi, huge graphic work here! The mood is perfect and the level design seems good too! Congrats for this! However it feels a bit weird, as someone said above, to have such controls in a game of exploration. Maybe you knew how to deal with such a mechanic better than with a free roam mechanic. I also felt confused when I chopped down trees and didn't get any log as a result of this action? Is it a bug or did I miss anything? Last thing I wanted to say, just like @colinbellino, I lost a lot of times when I was going deep in the forest, I couldn't know the dicrease rate, nor if there was some ghosts around. That situation is kinda critical because you need to get some combustible for your fire at all price but can't leave the camp... Thank you for this nice submission and for bringing us into your beautiful univers. I hope my comment helps you in a way:). Cheers
Apr 24 15:15:42 36m 51s FireKeeper ♥ 1 Cool mood in there! I would have appreciated a bit more of gameplay. That still was an interesting way to experience the keep it alive theme.
Apr 24 15:24:33 8m 51s Mount Ookie ♥ 2 Great game! Excellent Game! What else could I say?! Everything was well done : - Graphics - Audio - Level Design - Balancing Incredible entry! Well done!
Apr 24 15:36:35 12m 02s Bubba's Beach Balls ♥ 1 Hey there! Nice first entry here! We got nice graphics, SFX are cool too, could have used a bit of music to make the game even more catchy. I also liked the gameplay with the grapplin hook but I feel like after spending 1 minute hooking seagulls, the game is redundant. Maybe adding a "progression" system like having less and less seagulls throughout the time could be more challenging, forcing player to maximise the jump between the birds. You can also add jumping sharks that you must not touch otherwise you're dead. I think there are lots of mechanics that could bring depth to that project if you want to continue the development of it further away after the jam. Congratulation for this game, it was still very good!
Apr 28 17:05:31 97h 28m Goat Rider ♥ 1 I'm frustrated I couldn't make it... Either I didn't understand anything or I couldn't "translate" keys into AZERTY, but I couldn't even complete first level :'(. But I'm sure your game is great because I read the comments ;). I hope I'm able to play this one day :)
Apr 28 17:13:42 8m 11s Living Mandala ♥ 1 Just wondering if the button pressing only triggers a zoom or does it effect the Mandala itself? I couldn't determine how it worked precisely. However, it brought me to some kind of "other world" with this beautiful relaxing music, the experience was still very enjoyable :D. Thank you for this!
