| Oct 8 17:12:32 | Special Topics: Art with Professor Nothi Ng | ♥ 0 | Would have been very nice to have some interactions with Nothi, like when trying to paint on him, or outside the canvas. Also good would have been some sample images or something like that to give inspiration. | |
| Oct 8 17:18:54 | 6m 22s | Lost Path | ♥ 0 | Very floaty controls, which could be excused, but most of all I just felt confused while playing it. I'm not sure what I was supposed to be getting out of the bizarre imagery. |
| Oct 8 17:22:45 | 3m 51s | Jelly Tale | ♥ 0 | I got stuck at one point and couldn't jump over the obstacle. Generally the text moved way too fast so I could barely read it. The style is nice, though, and it looks like a good beginning of a game project. |
| Oct 8 17:28:09 | 5m 24s | Bring All Pineapples | ♥ 0 | The controls are extremely slippery, and I got lost way too easily. It would be very helpful to have some kind of indicator for your cave, so you can find your way back. If you can figure out how to animate the models, that would also make the game look a huge lot better. Keep at it! |
| Oct 8 17:42:36 | 14m 27s | Limbo | ♥ 2 | Pretty good for the time given! I'm not into spoopy horror games and all, but it was fun enough for a short while! Could have done with a bit more setup at the beginning to explain where you are and why things are happening. |
| Oct 8 17:53:12 | 10m 36s | My name is Nothing | ♥ 0 | Nice style, very relaxing atmosphere, which was surprisingly nice. I couldn't actually pick up anything at all, though, no matter how much I clicked. The rain also starts and ends too abruptly, otherwise it would make for a very chill game. |
| Oct 8 18:02:43 | 9m 31s | My mates went to bed before we could decide on a name! | ♥ 0 | Really should have used nearest-neighbour scaling on the textures, the pixel art becomes really blurred. The minigames are fairly unforgiving, requiring me to try them many times. Especially the convincing your uncle one is just weird and unintuitive. An adventure about getting your body back could be interesting, though I'm not sure the minigames approach works too well for that. |
| Oct 8 18:12:45 | 10m 02s | Consume | ♥ 0 | I could walk underneath some tables, but not others, without clear indication as to why. That confused me a lot. The people also seem to be able to pass underneath the tables like I can. Cool little game, though chasing around the levels zoomed as much as this gets kind of tedious after a while. |
| Oct 8 18:21:08 | 8m 23s | Soundmarine | ♥ 0 | Very nice and relaxing game, well within the scope of the jam. Good job! Some issues, though: - It seems possible to start without a visible submarine. No idea why or how, but it happened. - Due to the lack of shading, reference plane, and shadows, it's rather hard to understand where things are in relation to you. - Some of the purple... thingamajiggers can only be reached by going off-screen. |
| Oct 8 18:30:48 | 9m 40s | Untitled LD45 Entry | ♥ 0 | The screenshots looked very intriguing, but I couldn't even make it past the first (?) level. It just kept looping between these appearing walls, with no indication as to where to go, what to do, or how to progress. The eye in the center opens if I face slightly downwards, but doesn't seem to help, otherwise. I simply couldn't find anything to do, no matter how far, or which direction I walked. |
| Oct 8 18:33:43 | 2m 55s | CodeName:Jesus | ♥ 0 | Well, the title is pretty good. Unfortunately, I couldn't really figure out how to play the game though. |
| Oct 8 18:38:54 | 5m 11s | GTFO | ♥ 0 | It would have helped if I could have seen at least /something/ in the very beginning. Stumbling around in complete darkness, without any feedback at all on where you're going or supposed to be, isn't great. Once I got the light, things opened up though, and the game was nicely atmospheric. |
| Oct 8 18:42:20 | 3m 26s | Fit the Sticky | ♥ 0 | Hey, that was the best one I've played so far. Nice little idea, that could easily be expanded into a bigger game! Good concept and execution, well done. |
| Oct 8 18:48:54 | 6m 34s | High Steaks | ♥ 2 | Nice little game, I especially liked the throwing mechanic. Needed some actual skill for that! I wish I could have actually placed down the fire though, instead of just... keeping it in my inventory? |
| Oct 8 18:54:51 | 5m 57s | GettingHome | ♥ 1 | Would have been good to have a count down on the time, as well as a movement animation. Otherwise, very reminiscent of old cell-phone games, which is a neat feel. |
| Oct 8 19:03:53 | 9m 02s | Fruit Merchant | ♥ 2 | I was surprised at how much time I actually spent playing this. Nicely done. |
| Oct 8 19:09:45 | 5m 52s | ZeroCraft | ♥ 0 | Style is nice, but I couldn't figure out how to actually get any apples (?) or build more robots. I can get the one robot to gather wood and stone, but that's about it? |
| Oct 8 19:13:43 | 3m 58s | Shrine of Calamity | ♥ 1 | Surprisingly complete game for your first entry. Keep at it! |
| Oct 8 19:17:38 | 3m 55s | Strawberry Jam: Isle of Asmodeus | ♥ 0 | Good job to the artist, really nice pixel art! Unfortunately, I couldn't really figure out how the card game worked, a slow introduction to that would have been very appreciated. |
| Oct 8 19:22:07 | 4m 29s | Ex Nihilo | ♥ 3 | Nice music, pretty relaxing, though the game quickly becomes tedious, as the landscape is very same-y and you get lost wandering around the same place. |
| Oct 8 19:29:17 | 7m 10s | Legends of Hobo | ♥ 0 | I couldn't get the game to run? It just crashes on start. |
| Oct 8 19:33:46 | 4m 29s | The Last Word | ♥ 1 | Pretty good, though the game is obviously very much aimed at QWERTY keyboards. Doesn't work so well for other layouts. I really liked the twist of being able to combine abilities. |
| Oct 8 19:42:04 | 8m 18s | SpaceCube | ♥ 0 | Thanks to the comment here I was able to figure out how to mine asteroids and craft things, though I still couldn't really understand how to combine things, or what to use them for. |
| Oct 8 19:53:13 | 11m 09s | V0iD | ♥ 1 | Really enjoyed the look and feel on this one, though the jump is way too strong -- I often lost track of where I was during the jump, since the shadow goes out of view. |
| Oct 8 20:00:18 | 7m 05s | Washed Ashore | ♥ 0 | The game looks pretty nice, but I gave up after a while because it just takes so long for anything to happen. I also don't understand why you can't get more fish by yourself. It seems that if you don't pick fisherman as the first job, you soft-lock the game completely. |
| Oct 8 20:09:16 | 8m 58s | Pie Witch | ♥ 1 | Pretty good! I was especially surprised at how many different possible combinations of pie you could make! |
| Oct 8 20:17:17 | 8m 01s | Spirit of the Herd | ♥ 0 | It would have been a lot more interesting if you could have interfered with things more directly, giving certain animals temporary boons to save them, etc. As it is I just have to wait and watch the animals spin endlessly around bushes, which isn't very engaging. |
| Oct 8 20:22:39 | 5m 22s | upgrade | ♥ 2 | It seems that in this game, much like in real life, you can only die. |
| Oct 8 20:28:47 | 6m 08s | A Dream Of Life | ♥ 0 | The basketball is extremely glitchy, you can even use it to soar through the sky. My biggest complaints are that it's very hard to actually pick it up, and the motion blur makes me nauseous. Otherwise, nice mood and visuals. |
| Oct 8 20:35:01 | 6m 14s | Peak Velocity | ♥ 2 | Nice to see an entry with actually rigged animation. The platform placement was really glitchy though, it seemed to give me the wrong type of platform sometimes, and selecting it in the first place was tricky. |
| Oct 8 20:42:39 | 7m 38s | Slimy | ♥ 0 | It's pretty easy to soft-lock yourself by timing things slightly wrong. The beginning of the game was also rather confusing until I figured out that dropping onto the guards... possesses... them? Anyway, an interesting idea, but it definitely needs some more testing and polish. |
| Oct 8 20:47:20 | 4m 41s | The Carpenter | ♥ 3 | Pretty fun, simple game. Seems well fitted into the jam and pretty complete. Good job! |
| Oct 8 20:57:23 | 10m 03s | Build That Cabin | ♥ 1 | This game blows everything else clean out of the water. |
| Oct 8 21:01:53 | 4m 30s | Ex Nihilo | ♥ 1 | Very nice and relaxing game. Unique concept and stylish execution bundle it all into a solid package. Well done! |
| Oct 8 21:04:23 | 2m 30s | Untitled Sandbox Game Where You Throw Sticks | ♥ 2 | Unfortunately the game doesn't run for me, just shows a black screen and an FPS counter. |
| Oct 8 21:09:34 | 5m 11s | Cactorio! | ♥ 1 | Pretty complete package for a jam game. Wish there were different things to pick up and combine though. |
| Oct 8 21:17:06 | 7m 32s | Help yourself | ♥ 1 | The game looks very pretty and the music makes for a calming mood, but unfortunately the platforming physics are quite enraging. |
| Oct 8 21:31:32 | 14m 26s | Jewel Hunter | ♥ 0 | Very reminiscent of commodore and DOS-era games. Unfortunately I could not seem to move in any direction except to the right and jump up, so it was pretty hard to get anywhere. |
| Oct 8 21:40:29 | 8m 57s | Get off the Hook | ♥ 1 | The movement feels pretty weird. There are noticeable "steps" in the jump arc, and the ledge grabbing seemed very inconsistent. |
