Aug 13 07:41:42 Running out of Memory Space ♥ 0 This is a fun concept! It's kind of easy to get stuck while you're figuring out the game in the first few levels. I ended up guessing (nice) that R was a reset button. Probably worth putting that on the page for other players!
Aug 13 07:52:55 11m 13s Space Saver ♥ 1 great work! the bullet effect around the planet was very nice, even if it didn't seem to hit the enemies very often :) i mostly ended up just running up to stuff and shooting at my own feet, more or less. Not sure if that's user error or not :)
Aug 13 08:03:05 10m 10s shipme (Starbase Shipping Simulation) ♥ 1 Nice job! I might speed up the pace of play after the first couple of purchases, but dang, you got a lot done in 2 days !
Aug 13 08:08:36 5m 31s Running out of Space ♥ 0 Fun little concept! Seems like you could do some pretty crazy levels with more time--mouse wheel mechanic is totally enjoyable. Nice job!
Aug 13 08:12:33 3m 57s Claustrophobia ♥ 1 Awesome art, and a fun little memory-puzzle game! Would be kind of fun to try this on a level with 20 moves in it :P Also, this is really awesome stuff for a first game jam :)
Aug 13 17:20:04 9h 07m [REDUCE:REUSE] ♥ 2 This is pretty cool! The inventory up at the top kinda tricked me--at first I thought that I could only pick up two things, then I didn't understand why I could sometimes pick up three things (I was just doing it "by accident"), then I finally realized I could pick up tons of stuff. The controls are a little janky if I switch directions too quick, but what the heck, it's a game jam--very cool that you wrote this all from scratch / without a big engine.
Aug 13 18:49:59 1h 29m Notebook Boy in The Ghostbook ♥ 1 This is a cool concept! I'd probably repeat some of the same stuff other people said about moving enemies and stuff, but I totally empathize with this being a quick jam game :) This seems like it could be really fun if you wanted to spend more time on it!
Aug 13 19:16:06 26m 07s Deadpan Gulch ♥ 2 you had me at "panning for gold with oprah" this is a cool take on the theme--sure, the showdowns are easy, but it's a jam game :) really obvious that you could polish this up into something fun if you wanted !
Aug 13 19:30:31 14m 25s Space Adyssey ♥ 1 sure, why not! this is bizarre and enjoyable. it took me a bit to figure out how to get rid of the mail and fidget spinner ads, which i guess counts as realism.
Aug 13 19:48:51 18m 20s Warehouse ♥ 1 the music! the backing up sound! i forgot how to drive a forklift, but after i remembered that i need to actually get the lift allll the way under the boxes, things were easier. honestly would probably be a bit easier to follow with nothing but pulling the camera back a bit :) also, you know, good job on making it a family effort :)
Aug 13 19:55:40 6m 49s InkCleaner ♥ 1 why am i always such a sucker for hand-drawn games? this is a cool little game! seems like you have some kind of object pooling limit? at the end, i end up surrounded by ink but able to easily keep it far enough away by not moving and mashing space. the pacing is pretty good up to that point, seems like you probably just need a bit more randomness / turnover in ink placement? overall, good work!
Aug 13 20:12:38 16m 58s Globulator ♥ 1 This is definitely one of the more unique takes on the theme I've seen so far -- awesome work!
Aug 13 23:52:32 3h 39m Delivery Boi ♥ 1 Worked in FF for me after flailing in Chrome, guess I learned something about Godot's WebGL implementation this jam :P I think if I'd change anything, I might make the gap between the pickup and drop points a little smaller, but that's more about my preference for frantic stuff. This is a pretty cool game overall, though! Awesome work.
Aug 14 00:05:48 13m 16s SUPER CONVERGER ♥ 0 Hey--either I turned totally stupid, or after my first time playing through a few levels, the portals on the first real level didn't come back--did you notice anything like this? Alternatively I'm just totally worn out and got lucky the first time through :) Really awesome mood / graphics / gameplay, though!
Aug 14 00:22:03 16m 15s The Big Crunch: Cosmic Horizon ♥ 1 Cool game! Unfortunately I'm terrible at physics, or something, because i'm mostly good at shooting the asteroids in ever-faster circles around the level. Really only tiny stuff that I'd change--primarily the audio level for the shooting sound, but this is a really well-polished game for 24 hours! Awesome work. p.s., if you're able to write video games, is it really camping? :P
Aug 14 00:56:01 33m 58s Evil Forest Battle ♥ 1 This is a surprising little game--it seems very simple at first, but then you actually realize on the later levels that you need to stare at the board for a moment before just going crazy. Good stuff!
Aug 14 01:01:03 5m 02s ToFSDfSftPDRRoDwL ♥ 1 I scored 1015, which your screenshots make me think is maybe an okay score?? who knows!
Aug 14 01:27:23 26m 20s Nuclear Arms 6: Waste Wizard's Tricks ♥ 2 this seems like it was probably a pretty fun weekend for you all
Aug 14 01:35:06 7m 43s Storage Overflow ♥ 2 heh, the people- and cartoon bomb-shaped packages are a nice touch :P nice work!
Aug 14 01:50:44 15m 38s Running Away ♥ 1 ahahaha i'm so glad i didn't read any of the comments before playing this! "rrgh, is this seriously just a runner?" and then, b-b-b-b-bounce! this is a fun little mechanic! totally felt the dread of falling back, back, back and needing to start over again, enjoyed the quick humor. cool entry! and thanks for playing my game, too. :)
Aug 14 02:06:25 15m 41s Urban Planning ♥ 1 ah, yeah, this is more or less what i imagined it would be like to be an urban planner. really into that victory animation. househousehousehousehousehousehousehouse a little difficult to tell how exactly to do a good job killing stuff, but the weird more than makes up for it.
